Last one! And of course I had to add a splash of fluff/romance into this thing of angst :P

-Why can't you feel me calling your name? Can't break the silence, It's breaking me.-

[H/c] hair bobbed up and down as the little girl giggled and jump into the Russian's arms. He showed hid only real smile to her because she was the only one to make him happy like this.

"How is [Name] doing?" he sweetly asked.

"Great!" [Name] hugged around his neck. Then she look into Ivan's violet eyes with a bashful but serious expression.

"Ivan?"

"Da?"

"I love you," she kissed his cheek and wiggled away. He remained speechless as he repeated those words in his head again. Oh, only if she was older.

.....

"Do you remember that time?" the silver-blond man asked.

"Th-that was so many years ago!" [Name] blushed. Ivan sat down and crossed his legs.

"Why did you never say it afterward?" he questioned further.

"Well... I was growing more with your help and I knew saying 'I love you' as I grew older would be awkward and taken the wrong way."

"I don't fully understand what you mean. Are you saying grown up people are not supposed to say 'I love you?'"

"No," [Name] huffed trying to find a way to say it, "the little kid way of meaning it is okay, but as adults it means something else."

"But what if I do like you the adult way?"

[Name] gasped and held her breath. Was he being serious? It was confirmed when he walked up to her and stole her lips.

He could laugh at those bitter thoughts now. Nothing he thought of was safe. It just kept leading back to [Name]. He was alone more than ever now. Nobody dared wandering into his path now, any little thing could set him off.

He lied there imagining his field of sunflowers around him in a warm place. The memory of [Name] spinning around in her dress laughing just for him. He would just stay there and...
