"Michael why did you call us and tell us to come here at 7am?" Calum mumbled, rubbing his eyes.
"Because I want to talk to you guys" Michael responded.
"You can talk to us any time" Luke pointed out.
"Yeah but I don't want y/n to hear. This is important guys" Michael said, trying to get them to understand.
"What is it Mike?" Ashton asked, leaning forward.
"Luke you're married" Michael motioned to him. Luke nodded.
"How did you... Did you... When did..." Michael stammered for words.
"How did I know when to ask?" Luke guessed and Michael nodded.
"Well I mean we had been dating for a few years and it just felt right" Luke shrugged.
"You want to marry y/n?" Calum smirked, leaning closer.
"Yes I do" Michael exclaimed.
"Trust your heart Michael and you'll know when it's the right time" Ashton said. Michael took their advice. He wanted nothing more than to marry you but he was scared you didn't feel the same or that he was rushing things. You had been dating 2 years and lived with each other for a few months so Michael thought it was a good step to take. Little did Michael know that you heard the whole conversation and couldn't keep the tears from falling.
"Michael" you whispered hoarsely. He quickly looked in the direction your voice came from and panicked when he saw the tears on your face.
"Baby what's wrong" He stood up, crossing the room.
"I love you" you wrapped your arms around his neck.
"I love you. Why are you crying?" He asked, pulling back and cupping your face.
"I love you" you repeated.
"You heard didn't you?" He smiled slightly but he wished you didn't. He didn't want you to know that he was planning on marrying you. He wanted it to be a surprise.
"You guys are so cute" Luke yelled.
"Way to ruin the moment hemmings" Calum muttered.
"It's ok" you giggled, as Michael stepped to the side, keeping his arm around your waist.
