"Michael shut up" you finally yelled. He only rolled his eyes but continued singing obnoxiously.
"What's your problem y/n?" he scoffed.
"No what's your problem?" you turned to him.
"Are you serious right now?" He let out a sarcastic laugh and stood up.
"I'm trying to finish a paper for school. Could you please be quiet?" You asked quietly.
"Why don't you go to another room?" He spat. You sighed but nodded, picking up your lap top and going into the living. 10 minutes later Michael stomped in, turning the x-box on.
"Michael" you sighed. He grunted in response, eyes strained on the tv.
"Michael" you yelled.
"God y/n would you shut up?" he groaned, leaning away from you.
"Why are you in here?" You sighed.
"I'm playing video games" he shrugged.
"I'm not done with this paper"
"So?" He spat.
"Could you play this somewhere else?" You rubbed your temples, getting annoyed with Michael.
"I can't" he responded. "You can do your stupid thing anywhere else, I can't"
"If I remember, you told me to come in here" Michael sighed, pushing himself off the couch.
"Y/n please just go away" he sighed.
"Michael" you said, shocked. You blinked back the tears that had formed in your eyes. "Why are you acting like this?"
"Your so picky. Be quiet, play those games somewhere else, go to another room" He continued naming things that you did. Every single one felt like a stab in the heart.
"I'm trying to finish my homework for school and it's important to me" you tried to get him to understand. He stepped closer to you until his face was right in front of yours.
"Well guess what I don't care" He smiled sarcastically and backed away from you.
"You know what Michael" you yelled, standing up.
"What y/n what?" He smiled.
"Leave" you yelled, finally letting the tears fall.
"Gladly" he spat, going to the front door. You heard it slam shut and his car drive away. You fell back on the couch, letting out a sob. The week continued with no sign of Michael. He hadn't been back. He never called or texted you. The only time you left the house was to go to school and as soon as you got home you collapsed on the couch and didn't move to the next morning. You didn't even get up to eat. Michael wasn't much better. He laid on Luke's couch all day, everyday. Luke forced him to eat and tried to get him to go outside but he never could. Until Luke yelled at Michael to go home and apologize. He hated seeing his best friend so upset and Luke knew you weren't doing much better than Mike. Michael walked in the back door of your guys house shortly after you got home from school. You were asleep on the couch, bags under your eyes, and tears on your cheeks.
"I'm such an idiot" he whispered to himself before pressing kisses along your forehead until you woke up.
"Michael" you asked, shocked. You sat up quickly, hugging him tightly.
"I'm such an idiot y/n. I'm so sorry. I love you so much" Michael blurted out. He had been waiting to say that from the moment he walked out. The guilt was eating him alive.
"I'm sorry too" you whispered. He smiled, wiping the tears off your face.
"My baby girl" he whispered so quietly you didn't hear. Michael lifted you up, walking to the kitchen.
"You need to eat right now" he said sternly. You nodded, knowing he was right. Michael heated up leftovers from the fridge for the both of you then after while you did the dishes Michael brought his guitar down.
"Come on baby girl those can wait" he smiled pulling on your wrist. You let him pull you to the living room and down on his lap. He placed his guitar over you and started playing the tune of the only reason. You smiled to yourself and leaned back against his chest while Michael sang quietly in your ear. Before he finished the song, you had fallen asleep in his arms.
