To Michael: When are you going to be home?

From Michael: Few hours baby girlxx

Another tear slipped down my face as I tried to press myself further into the corner. The car lights were still shining through the front door and I could hear the persons footsteps crunching against the leaves as they circled the house.

I clutched the knife tightly in my hands, ready to use it if he somehow got inside. My heart was beating out of my chest and all I wanted was for Michael to be here, reassuring me that he would get us out of this.

I jumped when he started to bang on the window. I bit my fist to keep myself from sobbing out loud. He was close enough to hear any sound I made. His shadow passed by the other window in the room as he made his way to the other side of the house.

My fingers fumbled over the keys as I hurried to dial Michael's number.

"Y/n? Is everything alright?" Michael asked once he picked up the phone.

"Michael." I sobbed. "Please come home."

"Hey, hey, calm down. What's going on?" Michael asked softly.

My breath hitched in my throat as he came back to the window.

"Y/n?" Michael asked frantically. "Baby girl? What's happening?"

"Michael please." I whispered into the phone. "I need help."

I jumped at the particularly loud bang on the window. The knife slipped from my hand and clattered to the ground.

"There you are." The man outside yelled.

"He found me!" I yelled. "Michael! Please help me!" I sobbed uncontrollably into the phone. I was shaking in fear as I reached for the knife again.

"I'm coming baby, I'm coming. It's going to be okay." He spoke softly but urgently.

I sat in the corner, paralyzed in fear as I continued to listen to the loud footsteps of my stalker.

A scream escaped my lips as the glass from the window shattered. My phone fell to the ground as I hopped to my feet and held the knife out.

"Stay away." I said in a wobbly voice.

I felt my heart stop when my phone started ringing with a call from Michael again. The man smirked as he bent down and picked it up, pressing answer.

"Baby? Are you okay? Please tell me you're somewhere safe." Michael said.

"Oh she's safe." The man chuckled.

My eyes welled with tears at the sound of Michael's voice frantically calling for me. I wasn't paying attention and before I knew the man had his arm around my neck and a gun under my chin.

"You're safe, aren't you princess?" He laughed in my ear.

"Michael!" I yelled as tears rapidly fell down my cheeks.

Without wasting another minute I stabbed the knife into his side. The man dropped my phone and the gun as he yelped in pain. I stabbed him again in the thigh and once more in the stomach.

The mans lifeless body fell on me, knocking me to the ground in seconds.

"Y/n? Talk to me! What happened? Are you safe?" Michaels voice rang out.

"Michael." I cried quietly. I used my remaining strength to push the body off of me and curl up in a ball. I felt sick to my stomach as I looked at all the blood covering me. My eyes screwed shut as l called for Michael again.
