Chapter 13: Hurts Doesn't It?

Sparkle seemed like an angry bull, she snapped at me whenever I tried to make conversation. Saying it was all my fault. "Well if you let me separate, you could of went home to your tutors, and become a princess. I didn't mean to cause all this. The decision YOU made, was why you became wanted by the law!" Shimmer snarled at me, and when we landed, she shot a bolt of magic at me, that sent me flying through a few trees.

Blood came out my mouth when I landed, and I smiled cruelly. "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT IM GOING THROUGH?? BEING WANTED BY THE LAW, BEING HATED BY EVERYPONY? NO, YOU DONT!" I growled myself, and got up like nothing happened, and towered over her. "Yes, I do..." She looked up with me and was about to speak again, but I did before her. "I've been around for a thousand years, I've been hunted by the law, tracked by the Princesses, and I've been wounded, damaged, and I even almost died. You... Know NOTHING of the pain I've felt. But that's not it isn't it? You've never wanted to be hated, and you never did something bad, setting you on the highway to hell. You were a good girl, listening to daddy and mommy, and becoming a student to the second group of Alicorns on this planet."

Shimmer stared at me in sadness and began to cry. My eyes widened in realization that I went to far. "Shimmer I-" "save it..." She cried a bit harder, and looked at me through those eyes... "You already hurt me enough... It was a bad idea to bring you along..." She turned and flew off, letting me to myself. I sighed in anger, and hit my head against a tree, cracking the tree. "This is why monsters and Ponies mustn't be friends..." I turned back to the receding form of Shimmer, and smiled. "Find your way Shimmer, you go back to your mentors... They won't see you the same, and treat you like... Heh, a monster..."
