I was trotting through the ever free forest, looking about the area, and watching for any timber wolves. I heard rustling, and went on the offensive. I turned to the sound and powered up a destruction spell. The rustling stopped, and a bunny came out. I sighed in antagonized embarrassment. "Hey there little fella... Why are you in a place like this?" I looked around for any sign of his family, but found none, and stared back down at the bunny. He was a cute rabbit, (degrading) but he hopped off into another bush.

I shook my head and continued on my trek to reach the witch hut. When the place was in my sight, I stopped, and stared at it. It was very simple, made of wood and bark, but had a specific... Magic sense to it. I couldn't put my hoof on it, but I didn't care, the witches business is her business. I rapped my hoof on the hut door, and waited. The door opened, and a very frustrated zebra looked at me. "What is it you seek, you meek baboon?" She talks in rhymes eh? Must be a condition. "I'm here for this..." I held out the scrap of paper I was given by a colleague as she made her way to ponyville. She gasped in realization, and smiled. "Come in come in, how long has it been?" I smiled and stepped in, but gave her enough room to go in as well.

"Not as long as you'd think Zecora." She laughed, and looked at the paper again, and pulled out a few herbs, and potions. "So, it's the ancient amulet you seek? I can give you a peek." She threw the herbs in, and started mixing it together with mud looking stuff. After a while, a loud snap was heard from the cauldron, and an image showed itself to me. "The lost amulet of Aulmur... It's more beautiful than I had imagined..." I stared at the most ancient artifact in the world, lost to time, before even the humans roamed Equestria. "Yes, the amulet is stronger than tabet." I laughed at her comment but realized what I was doing.

"Where can it be found Zecora?" She looked at me with suspicion clearly on every one of her features. "Why do you seek this mighty weapon of Amüs dèk?" I looked at her with anger. "Because it's the only thing able to restore life to my people." Her gaze lowered and she sighed. "In this forest, I know not where, there lies a ancient tower of Andüse ve, where not even the most pure of things enters without the loss of their mind, much like yours last ye tried to go there to lay." I nodded slowly, and remembered the troubling times I had there. "Then I'll go back."

I looked back at Zecoras hut as she waved me goodbye. I turned and started my journey into the most evil land of Equestria... The Vale.
