Chapter 24: Wedding Crasher

"... If anypony objects, speak now, or forever hold your-"

I walked in at the nick of time. "I do!"

Shimmer called my name, and basically everypony, especially that punk Dark Star, was shocked at my appearance. Few gasps were heard, but all had the exact feelings written on their faces as I stared at them. My hate showing clearly in my features.

"How did you-" "you can't hold a raging demon Celestia. You should've known that." Lu Lu and Tia snarled at me and were about to charge their magic, but Dark Star held up his hoof in denial as he smirked at me.

"Don't worry my lieges. I'll take care of this mongr-" "nah, you'll be lying in a pool of blood when I'm done with you." I kept the sword I took sheathed, and Star snarled at the interruption. "How could Shimmer ever love you?" I froze when he said that, but narrowed my eyes, and took off the mask. More people gasping.

"Why would a changeling like you try and take the love of Shimmer for yourself Lura." (Swedish is Lura.) Dark Star smiled at me, but he did not take off his guise. "I do not know what you're talking about." I smiled at him. My pure canines teeth glistening brightly causing a mare to feint.

"Just like your mother... Guess I'll have to take bigger measures to make sure you won't come back." Dark Star snarled and got ready to charge me. I smiled and looked at the princesses.

"There's four ways that this can go down..." I looked at Dark Star. "You can somehow try and beat me..." I looked at Shimmer. "I can teleport Shimmer out of here..." I turned back to the princesses, my coat becoming a. It more crimson than black. "I can slaughter everyone here..." Then I turned to the ceiling. "Or I can let my sanity drop, so I can show you the true meaning of pain." I started chuckling and looked at the slowly advancing Dark star. "Since none of those are acceptable. I'll go with plan 5..." "And what plan is that boy?" I smiled at Dark Star and my eyes became bright from hunger. "Killing you."

I teleported forward towards Dark Star and swung at him. He dodged and kicked me in the gut sending me back a few feet. He kept coming at me, but this time I'm on the defensive.

He swung his hooves hoping to catch my ears and make them ring. I grabbed them then head butted him. Sending him into the ground. I was about to stomp his skull in, but he rolled out of the way and used his magic to throw a chair at my leg, making a loud sickening sound, and a small amount of pain to come to me.

"Samuel!!" I stared at Shimmer for a second but moved the broken hoof out of the way so I could use my magic to throw Dark Star into the table. Causing it to up turn as if continually forced him through it.

I grabbed the hoof that was broken, pulled a giant shard of wood out of it, and snapped the bones back into place, making me wince in pain.

Dark Star teleported In front of me with a sword and was about to stab me. I simply grabbed his sword and threw him into a corner of the room.

I unsheathed my sword, and used my hooves to maneuver it, rather than my magic. Just as Dark Star ran at me. He swung his sword to my left and I blocked. To the right, blocked. He kept swinging until I moved to the side and kicked his hooves out from under him. Picked him up, and threw him onto a balcony, through a wall.

The stallion got up and charged at me with a snarl. He sliced over head, and I blocked. We kept that stance for a while, trying to overpower the other, until his sword slipped and cut through mine. Cutting my left eye. 'Yes...' Time slowed, and if felt a part of my 3 souls disperse at that moment. Giving Dark Star the time to hold me down onto the balcony hanging on a 60 foot drop.

"Any last words fool?" Star snickered as he felt his power gaining. I smiled as I saw a shadow of Pure Red come behind him. "Yes... You should of not forgotten about my soul tear power." Star raised an eyebrow and was about to say something, until a crunching sound was made, as a bloody red horn was shoved through his chest.

The horn removed itself after 3 seconds and Star turned around as he dropped to his knees. "W-what a-are you?" The being known as War smiled causing blood to come from his old scars. "I. Am. War." He raised a fore hoof and grabbed Dark Star by the mouth. War lifted Star over the balconies end and took off Stars guise. Making a black stallion to show, but with pure green eyes, and was also a bit bigger than Luna.

"Hrp mr sermone!" Star's cries were muffled as War summoned a blade made of fire in his right hand and tossed it to me. "He's all yours now..." With that, War re entered my mind through the grey fog, and I smiled. Saying a mental thank you as I walked over to the changeling.

"How... How could you beat me? I had my disguise planned out! I almost won and we could've finally been rid of you!" I grabbed Star by the throat and my smile became a small smirk as I looked at him.

"You can't kill which is already dead." I summoned a red, curved energy knife and lifted it above my head.

"I died when my home and my people did. You helped in the death of them." I snarled and raised him up. "I let you live through your sins and you still do this. I won't make the same mistake tw-" "Samuel!!" I stopped and looked at Shimmer as she looked like she was crying.

"Don't kill him please!" I looked at Shimmer as if she was crazy. She continued while walking closer. "I've had enough of pain today and I don't want any bloodshed. I didn't mean to get you captured by the guard, I really didn't. I just didn't want you to kill anybody. Please forgive me!" She ran into my chest and sobbed as I stared down at her in surprised sadness. I sighed and lifted shimmers head. While dropping Dark Star.

"I forgive you Shimmer..." I turned to Dark Star. 'What do you want us to do with him Samuel?' I thought for a moment, and came up with an idea. 'Trap him in the land he called home. That'll get him to remember what happens to traitors.' My souls nodded and grabbed Star and took him to the wastelands, while he was screaming all the way.

I turned to Shimmer and she glared at me. "Hey, at least I'm not gonna torture him!" Shimmer rolled her eyes and I laughed as the night came to and end.

Few hours later.

"... Ya see princesses, I never wanted to hurt anybody, I was just protecting my people before they passed from this world." Luna and Celestia decided to give me a chance to explain. While they were discussing, Shimmer nudged me.

"I know their gonna accept you. They can't hide the fact that I trust you, and that the respect my choices." I smiled at Shimmer and leaned in a bit to her ear.

"Hey Shimmer?" She turned to look at me and blushed as she saw our faces were so close together. "Y-yes?" I smiled and blushed a bit myself. "I love you."
