Sparkle didn't know where she was flying. She couldn't return to Canterlot because she hadn't brought goodness to the evil yet. She couldn't go to Ponyville because everyone there knew her as the crazy Alicorn who tried to kill the Princess's guards. So, she just flew.

She flew till the sun went down, and then through the night. She flew when the sun came up and rose to the middle of the sky. Then, she finally had to rest.

She and Moondrop rested in an open meadow. While he played with the butterflies in the flowers, Sparkle lay in the grass and thought.

She thought about her life as a filly. When she had to hide her true self. Had to pretend to be something she wasn't to please her parents.

She thought about her parents. How disappointed would they be if they saw her now? On the run from the law, with a stallion who didn't even care about her. He had proved that by his words, and lack of care about why she left or where she was going. Sparkle sighed.

She thought about Celestia and Luna. What would they be thinking right now? Had they found out about her? Or where the guards after her instead of reporting back to them.

A tear slid down her cheek as she hid her head on her hooves. She cried for a while, but when Moondrop let out a yelp, then was silent, she started to get suspicious.

"Moon? Moonie pup, where are you?" She called as she looked around the clearing. It was dark, and she could barely see.

She heard a deep, evil chuckle behind her. She jumped up and her horn started glowing as she looked around.

"My, my. You're a pretty little pony aren't you?" The stallion's voice said. Sparkle narrowed her eyes, unable to see in the darkness.

"Who are you?" She asked, speaking in her commanding tone.

She saw two glowing green eyes in front of her. They locked in on hers and held her gaze, unwavering. He had a dark red bag next to him, squirming and whimpering.

The stallion stepped into the full moon's light, and Sparkle could see that he was tall, with a grey coat and horn. But no wings. He smirked at her.

Then, three other stallions stepped out if the shadows and into the moonlight, circling her. The one to her right was dark brown with glowing yellow eyes. The one on her left was a dark green with glowing purple eyes. And the one behind her was silver with glowing white eyes. They all looked at her and smirked as she looked at them all.

'Why aren't they afraid? I mean, I'm an Alicorn!' Sparkle thought. Then she realized that her wings were covered in the blanket wrapped around her. She shook it off and extended her large wings.

But instead of being scared off, the movement had quiet the opposite effect.

"An Alicorn? Perfect. That will make this all the more fun......for us!" The grey stallion said.

Sparkle narrowed her eyes. She'd had enough. She conjured the best spell she could think of, and shot it at the stallion. He easily side stepped and avoided her magic. Sparkle gasped.

"Get her." He growled.

Before she could fight back, the three other stallions were upon her. Thinking quickly, she created a message spell that told her location, and asked for help. But just as she was about to send it to Tia, something hard and sharp hit her in the back of the head. Her eyes widened as she began to lose consciousness.

Her last word before she went under sent her spell to the last person she would have sent it to that day.

"SAMUEL!!!"
