Dom's POV
As we laughed coming around the corner to her car, I noticed her Ex was leaning against her car. I watched her to see if she still had any feelings for him. If I saw a hint of any feelings for him, I would back off but if there's nothing there.......he best back off.
He was eyeing me hard. I guess to see if there was anything going on between me and Jocelyn. I SOOO wanted to lean over and kiss her right in front of him. But now is not the right time. I need her to fall in love with me first before I reveal myself to her.
"Aight teach, I'll see you again after lunch." I said trying to make things seem a little less awkward. Jocelyn smiled while putting her things in the car. "OK Mr Sanders, I'll see you in a bit. Once again, thank you for helping me out today." "No problem."
I walked half way back towards the cafeteria when I realized that I left my phone in my shirt that Jocelyn has on. I turned back to get it, hoping that they were still there. Walking up on them, I overheard him ask her for forgiveness. She started to shake her head and before she could speak, he then said that he wants her back and that he would do whatever it took to get her back. Walking closer up, clearing my throat for them to notice that I was there, she turned around and all I could see was red. Imma kick his punk ass!! She had tears running down her face. This mother fucker done come up to my woman and made her cry. Hell naw!!!!
"Is everything OK Ms Smith?" I asked, looking her directly in the eyes. She looked confused and lost. When she didn't say anything, I glanced over at him and that fucker had the nerve to reach out for her, take her hand and say, "You're probably just hungry Joss. Lets go to the cafeteria and get something to eat and talk some more. OK baby?" Before he could pull her away from me I said, "Excuse me, sir, but can I talk to Ms Smith for just a second. She has on my shirt and I forgot my phone in the pocket. I just need to get that and I'll get out you guys way." I said hoping to get the reaction that I was looking for and he did not let me down. He looked at the shirt that she had on. I smiled on the inside........take that bitch. I thought. I leaned in on Ms Smith. I could tell that things were going a little too fast for her. She looked speechless. Leaning in closer to her ear while reaching into the front pocket of the sweatshirt, I whispered in her ear, "Do I need to take care of him for you? I don't like to see you in tears. Do I need to stay with you? Its no problem. I just want to make sure that you are safe. I don't like the way he's looking at you. Please.....say something. You're scaring me baby." Taking the phone out of the pocket, I realized that I just slipped up. Dam. I shouldn't have called her baby. She looked up at me with a question in her eyes. Then her Ex took her hand leading her to the cafeteria.
When I made it to the cafeteria, they were already sitting down. I saw Mac and asked him for a favor. After he agreed, he walked over to their table and sat at their table with his tray. Right after he opened his drink, he called my phone so that I could listen in on their conversation. Once I was settled in at another table to where I could still see her, I listened in. I didn't like a dam thing that he had to say. But Jocelyn still didn't say a thing. She was starting to make me worry. I pulled out my phone to text her to see if I could get a reaction out of her.
Me: Why aren't you eating and who's the guy that you're NOT eating lunch with? I thought that you were single. If I didn't have a chance with your heart, why didn't you say so last night?
I looked up in time to see the expression on her face when she noticed that 'Dom' was texting her again. She looked all around the cafeteria but still didn't notice me.
Jocelyn: Once again, he's my Ex husband. I am single. And.....no one has a chance with my heart, its broken. And I'm too frustrated to eat.
Me: Why do you look so sad? Do you want him back?
Jocelyn: It's complicated and HELL NO!
Me: What's up with the hostility towards him? LOL
Jocelyn: When I look at him I feel the pain of loosing my child all over again because of him. So, looking at him practically disgusts me when I think about what he did to me years ago.
Me: If you want him to go away, let me know and he will...... Tell me what you want Jocelyn and its yours.
Jocelyn: I don't want to make a scene, but if you can get rid of him, quietly.............. I'll come to the club tonight.
Dom: Done. A friend of mine is sitting near you. I am gonna text him. When he whispers in your ear, excuse yourself to the restroom, but go straight to your classroom. Someone will meet you in your class room with something for you.
I text Mac what I need him to do while I grab some juice, an apple and a large mix fruit bowl. I looked up to see Mac smile then get up to do what I asked him. He walks over to Jocelyn, leans over and whispers in her ear. She excuses herself for the restroom, like I asked. When she leaves, Mac sits down in her seat and shows her Ex the message I sent for him.
Dom: Mac, my baby doesn't look too happy. See if she is OK. Let that mother fucker know that he needs to leave now. He needs to stop trying to get back with someone who has moved on with their life, without him.
Mac: Bet.
Dom: Also, inform him that if he keeps bothering her and I find out about it, I will find him and make sure that he will leave her alone. She is no longer his.
When that punk ass bitch reads the message, he started to act like he wanted to start some shit. But when Trey and Leo stepped over to him, that bitch shut up.......... quick-like. I left to check on my baby while my boys escorted that bitch out of the cafeteria and off the fucking campus.
