Jocelyn POV

For the past week, I wasn't alone for anything. Domnic's mom is the sweetest. She has offered for me to live with the family until the wedding and after the wedding if we'd like to. I of course declined because I know how Domnic can get when he's hungry, and the family shouldn't hear such things.

And if you guys are wondering.....yes the wedding is still on. After the so-called family meeting, I was informed by each and every one in that room that I will marry Domnic. With no and, if's or but about it. Even my mother stated that she could see the love between the both of us.

Marcus did call Alex and was confirmed that Domnic was with her for a luncheon and that I was with L.D. I haven't seen much of him since then when he found out that Star was moving in with me. But he did show up to the apartment tonight wanting to take me to the Galla but I was already gone.

Well tonight is the Galla event and everything is going well so far. Everyone is wearing their masks and are looking great. I didn't even notice the difference between Domnic and L.D. with the masks on and both wearing the same suit. I was walking to the restroom with Star when someone grabbed my arm and pulled me into a hug. I knew that it wasn't Domnic because of the cologne. When I looked up, Marcus was leaning down to kiss me and I ducked out of the way and in time to see L.D. holding Domnic back. "What are you doing Marcus? You've already threatened me to stay away from Domnic, and I've done that, but I we are not dating. I don't care what my father wants. This is my life and after you cheated on me and divorced me, you no longer have any rights to this." I pointed to myself as I whispered yelled at him. "I agreed to this date tonight to prove to you that I am getting over Domnic. Can't you see how happy he is with Alex. She makes a public spectacle every time she sees me. So yeah I get it....they are together and are in love. Look, people are starting to stare. L.D. and I have guests to greet. I will see you when it is time for the dinner." I mumbled, not giving him a chance to speak while yanking my arm out of his grasp.

The look on his face was not of a happy man. But he will just have to deal with it. I will deal with his wrath later.

Star and I finally made it to the restroom and a lady bumped into me dropping her purse. I bent down to help her and when I looked up, she and I both screamed! Star turned from washing her hands saw who it was and we were all a screaming mess. "Nicole, I haven't seen you in years! How are you? What are doing now? Who are you here with?" "Slow down Jocelyn, hey Star. I'm here with my fiancé, Drake. He's actually an acquaintance of the Sanders family. I didn't know that you knew them. How are you and Marcus, Jocelyn? I thought that you guys were in Canada?" Star, Nicole and I all caught up while we were in the restroom and realized that Trey and Nicole were actually there to help out Mr. Sander's son, Domnic, and his fiancé. Once everything was sorted, the girls had put 2 and 2 together and realized what the Sanders were up to.

Domnic's POV

The Galla was going great until Marcus showed up. He started some mess with Jocelyn just as soon as he saw her. L.D. had to hold me back from causing a scene. "Your girl can handle herself. Just look at her. When she knows that she's safe with you around her, she can do it. Give her a chance to get her confidence back, bro." I did what L.D. suggested and gave her a chance. It looked like she was really giving him a piece if her mind. I just hope that he doesn't retaliate on her.

Dad walked over and introduce Drake, Nicole and Anna. The ladies excused themselves to the restroom as soon as we all greeted one another. Right after they left, Jocelyn's mother and I assume father walked in the building. Mr. Ross didn't seem too happy to be here until he saw Marcus and went to talk to him. Mrs. Ross walked over to us just as soon as she saw me and my family. We introduced Drake to her and she immediately knew of his reason for being here.

Right after Drake was introduced, Mr. Ross walked up with Marcus and I introduced him to my family. "Mom, Dad, this is Jocelyn's father......" before I could finish the introduction, both my parents said "Rick Ross" at the same time.

The look of confusion, anger and acknowledgement was on everyone's face. I of course was confused. I didn't know that my parents knew Jocelyn's parents. Mr. Ross glared at my father and gritted his teeth before he nodded and spoke, "Sanders..... I've come to fetch my wife and daughter, Marcus's wife. Has anyone seen Jocelyn?" He spoke knowing that Jocelyn was divorced. But the look that he gave my mother had me really confused. The way he stared at her was the way I looked at Jocelyn when she first came from Canada, the look of lust. Did my mother and Jocelyn's father have something going on at one time? I wasn't the only one who saw this look as well. I noticed that my Dad stood in front of my mother with his fists balled then the look of understanding and hurt from Jocelyn's mother.

Alex POV

Domnic has been acting very strange lately. He's been more boyfriend like every since L.D. came home. I've tried to spend more alone time with him but Mac is always there. Complaining about how he can't get Star to notice him. So I guess that's why Domnic lets him hang out with us all the time. I've started to get very frustrated. I had to get what I needed from Marcus a few times to satisfy my needs. But tonight will be different. I've brought a little GSB to put in his drink so he should come to me willingly tonight. By the look of what's going on over there with the family, I might not need this. We'll see though......
