Right before lunch Riley manages to get alone with Lucas.

"Lucas, I need your help. How am I going to ask Maya to the semi-formal?"

"I don't know, Riley, but let's try something a little less big this time."

"Like what?" Riley asks, before answering her own question, "Oh, I know. Fireworks!"

Lucas sighs. "No, Riley... Let's think. What does Maya like?"

Riley takes a second to think of what her girlfriend likes. Once she thinks of her answer a smile grows on her face, "me."

Lucas playfully rolls his eyes. "Okay, we will make sure you are apart of the whole... You asking Maya to the semi-formal thing. But what else does Maya like?"

"She likes art."

"There you go. Why don't you just draw her a picture of you two or something? You can write, 'semi-formal?' at the bottom and give it to her."

"That's actually a good idea, Lucas. Thanks."

"No, problem."

The bell rings for school to be over and Maya gets up to leave art class.

"Hey, Riles... So My mom texted me today and apparently it's really busy at Topanga's. I was thinking of helping her out this afternoon. Is that okay?"

"Yeah, no problem. I was going to stay after school for a bit and talk to Mr. Jackson about my grade in art anyway."

Both are too caught up in their own lie to realize the other was also quite obviously lying.

"Wanna meet up later tonight?"

"Yeah, come to my apartment once you're done."

"Okay," Maya nods. "See you then."

Maya leaves and Mr. Jackson approaches Riley.

"Riley, you're grade in here is fine. Why did you tell Maya you needed to talk to me?"

"I lied to her so I could draw her a picture to ask her to the semi-formal with."

"Oh, okay. Well I have to go talk to some other teachers. I'll leave you in here alone."

"Thanks, Mr. Jackson."

The teacher opens the door and just as he is about to leave he turns back around.

Riley watches her teacher, as he goes around the classroom grabbing all the purple paint.

"Hey, you can never be too careful," he says before leaving with all of the purple paint in his hands.

Riley laughs and starts to work on her drawing.

Farkle peeks his head into the bakery, Maya is seated at the couch.

"Hey, Maya," the boy shyly says.

"Farkle, did you get the bunny?"

"Yeah, I got it."

"Then what are you doing? Come inside the bakery, let me see it."

"I feel like bringing a bunny in the bakery would be unsanitary."
