[It's Maya's first day back to school, since running away. She and Cory are in Cory's office at the school.]
"What's going to happen, Matthews?" Maya asks, as her leg is anxiously bouncing up and down.
"You missed nearly a month of school, Maya. Making everything up isn't going to be easy."
"What if I don't get good grades?" Maya quickly replies.
"Maya, over the past couple of years you have showed me that you are a very smart young lady. You have a great transcript. What are you so worried about?"
"College, Matthews. What if I don't get into a good school and Riley does? Then we will be separated for four years and what if she falls in love with someone else. Or maybe she'll stay with me, but I'll be working at some low-paying, night shift job, then we will never see each other during the day and I'll just be holding her back from her potential. Or-"
"Maya, that's enough. I mean first of all she asked you to marry her. Plus, I know that with a little hard work you will be able to get into any college you want to."
"You really think that?"
"I do," Cory smiles.
"Thanks, Matthews."
[Later that day Riley and Maya are cuddling on the couch as they watch a movie in the Matthews' apartment.]
Auggie comes marching into the living room with a frown on his face. As he reaches the girls he crosses his arms and lets out a huff.
"Auggie, is everything okay?" Riley asks.
"I need to talk you," he angrily responds.
"About what?" Riley inquires.
"Not you," he pouts. "You," he says, pointing his finger at Maya.
Maya raises her eyebrows up and points to herself. "Me?"
Auggie nods his head in agreement. "Bay window!" The young boy yells, as he marches off towards Riley room.
Maya looks over at Riley and lets out a small laugh. "I don't know what I did this time, but it looks like I'm in trouble."
Maya makes her way to Riley's room, where she finds Auggie already seated in the bay window with his arms still crossed.
Maya takes a seat next to the curly-haired boy. "What's wrong, Auggie?"
"Why didn't you tell me?" Auggie shouts. "You and Riley are going to get married and nobody told me."
"If nobody told you then how did you find out?"
"I'm the one asking questions here!"
Maya jumps back and puts her hands up to surrender. "Okay, okay."
"Why didn't anyone tell me that you guys are getting married?"
Maya tucks one of Auggie's curls behind his ear and smiles. "Well we aren't actually getting married yet."
"But I heard my mommy and daddy say that Riley asked you to marry her."
"She did," Maya confirms.
"So you said no? I thought you loved each other." Auggie asks, his tone now one of confusion rather than anger.
"We do. We just decided that when the time is right I'm going to ask Riley to marry me, and then we will marry each other."
"Why not now?" Auggie innocently asks. "If you love her, why don't you ask her now."
"I have to prove to myself that I'm ready to get married first. Some of my recent actions have shown that I'm not completely ready yet. Just give me a little time and I'll be ready," Maya assures him.
"Okay," Auggie mutters. "Can I be part of the wedding?"
"Of course you can," Maya smiles.
Auggie looks up at Maya and slightly smiles, but Maya can tell that there is still something that is bothering him.
"Is that all you wanted to talk about?" Maya asks, to see if Auggie will tell her what else is upsetting him.
He shakes his head yes.
"Are you sure?"
Auggie sits in silence for a minute, before asking, "once you guys get married, will Riley care about me?"
"What?"
"Is she just going to leave me, and not want to be my older sister anymore now that she has you?"
"She has always had me, and she has always cared about you. How will us getting married change any of that?"
"I don't know," Auggie shyly responds. "But what if it does?"
"She will always love you, Auggie. The only thing that is going to change when Riley and I get married is that I'll be your sister-in-law."
"That won't change anything," Auggie replies. "You've always been my sister."
Maya hugs Auggie. "Then I guess nothing will change. Do you feel better about Riley and I getting married now?"
"I guess so." Auggie pauses, before adding, "does that mean she is going to move out of the house?"
"Well she is going to have to move out eventually regardless if we are married or not. It's just a part of growing up."
Auggie looks up Maya. "Will you be there with her?"
Maya laughs. "I sure hope so."
"Good," Auggie smiles. "I feel better now."

A/N: Yay, Auggie's back! I hope you all enjoyed this chapter.Sequel Question:
I think that everyone who is going to vote has voted on the gender of each second generation kid from my last update. I have tallied everything up and decided the gender of each kid. Also thank you to everyone one who voted. It was actually closer than I thought it was going to be and one was actually tied, so I had to decide on that one myself.
I'm not very good at making up an entire new character by myself (partially why I'm asking you guys for help) so now onto the naming.Minkus will be a girl. What should her name be?
Please leave a comment if you have any suggestions. I will narrow down the suggestions to a couple of names that I like and then you can all vote on the final name later. Also don't be afraid to be creative with the names, especially since she is going to be a Minkus.
