60: Talk to Who?

A little after 11 in the morning, Maya finally rolls out of bed with a throbbing headache.

She makes her way to the living room, where Shawn is anxiously pacing back and forth and Katy is fidgeting on the couch.

As soon as they hear Maya walk into the living room, Katy jumps up from the couch and all of the attention in the room is focused on the blonde.

"What?" Maya utters.

"What?" Shawn exclaims, as he starts laughing. "What?" He repeats.

"Baby Girl, what do you have to say for yourself?" Katy asks.

Maya's eyes narrow, as she stands still. "What is it going to be? One month? Three? Six? A year?"

"We don't know how long you are going to be grounded for yet, but you will be grounded," Katy exclaims.

"Do you remember what you did last night?" Shawn questions.

Maya pauses. "I thought you knew."

"We do," Shawn explains, "but do you remember what exactly you did at the party?"

Maya takes a minute to think, but can't remember much after arriving to the party. "No."

"Take out your phone and check your story on snapchat from last night." Shawn demands.

"Why?" Maya retorts.

"I don't know! That's what Minkus told me to do," Shawn says.

"Why were you talking to Farkle?" Maya asks.

Katy interrupts. "Please, Baby Girl, just listen."

Maya takes at her phone and looks at her story.

She instantly starts smiling at the first couple of snaps of her and Riley at school. However, she soon gets to the snaps of her at the party and something inside her instantly breaks. "Did I really do that? How could I have done that to her?"

Maya drops her phone and rushes back to her room.

Shawn and Katy look at each other and simply sigh, as they stare at the phone in the ground.

"Should we?" Katy asks.

"I think we have to," Shawn replies.

Katy picks up the phone and starts playing Maya's story, while Shawn looks over her shoulder.

[At the Matthews apartment. Farkle has left. Riley and Auggie are still in the older girl's room. Topanga and Cory are in the living room talking about last night.]

There is a sudden and harsh knock at the door.

Cory jumps up and answers it.

"Shawnie, Katy, what are you guys doing here?" Cory asks, though he knows exactly why they are there.

As they step in Katy says, "we don't know what to do. Please, help us."

[At the Hunter-Hart apartment. Shawn, Katy, Cory and Topanga walk through the door of Maya's room. Maya is buried under her covers.]

As soon as she hears the group come through the door, the blonde uncovers her face and instantly rolls her eyes. "What is this?" She laughs. "Some kind of intervention?"

"Baby Girl, we need to talk about what happened last night," Katy says.

"I'm sure you all know what I did, there is nothing to talk about. Ground me until I'm eighteen and leave," Maya spats.

"Maya, what about Riley?" Shawn questions.

"Do you not think that as soon as I found out what I did that I wasn't crushed? Is that what you think? That I wanted to break her heart? I love her and I know that when she finds out that I will hurt her. I never wanted to hurt here. There is nothing to say."

"Well what you did was really stupid," Shawn responds.

Maya jumps out of her bed, and grabs her bag and heads out of the window.

"Maya, where do you think you are going?" Shawn yells out the window.

"I need to talk to someone."

Shawn looks back at the three. Topanga and Cory's faces filled worth condolences, while Katy was trying to hold back tears.

"It's okay," Cory consoles. "I'm sure she is just going to see Riley."

Shawn nods.

[An hour later, Topanga goes into Riley's room, while Cory, Shawn and Katy wait in their living room. Riley is sitting in the bay window.]

"Hey, Sweetie. How are you?" Topanga asks.

"I'm okay," the girl responds.

"Really?" Topanga asks confused.

"Yep," Riley confirms.

"Did Maya ever come and talk to you?"

"I haven't heard from her," Riley responds.

"Oh," Topanga smiles. "I'll see you at dinner, if not sooner."

Topanga gets up before calmly walking out of the brunette's room. As soon as she is out of the room, she runs to the living room.

"Maya never came and talked to Riley." Topanga exclaims.

"What?" They all say in unison.

"Maybe she went and talked to Farkle, Lucas, Zay or Smackle," Cory reasons.

"Cory, text Farkle and ask if she has talked to any of them.

After and a couple of minutes Farkle responds.

"Nope, not them either," Cory says.

"Who else would she have gone to?" Katy asks.

Everyone shakes their head.

"Tell Farkle to come over here," Shawn states.

A/N: Sorry, I know I promised you guys that you would find out exactly what Maya did in this chapter, but I lied. I've been busy and wanted to get at least something out for all of you.
