I stare at the front of the room, debating on whether I should do it or not. I mean, it's not like I haven't before, but still.

I make my decision.

I stand up making sure to slam my hands on the desk. Everyone's head shot towards the back of the room where I was now standing.

"Yes, Mr. Rivera?" Mrs. Daniels said. I honestly didn't know how I was going to go about this.

I just improvise. I 'pass out', really just falling on the floor with my eyes closed. I hear gasps and shuffling around the room.

"Oh my god!"

"What do we do?"

"Is she dead?"

"Oh my god! We killed the new girl."

Okay, really. Im not new! Everyone thinking that is getting really annoying.

"Ryan. Can you hear me?"I hear Mrs. Daniels say. She is an old lady with white shoulder length hair. She is the type to get really emotional. If your 'disrespectful' she'll end up in tears. People either take advantage of that or feel bad.

Guess which one I am.

I feel someone shaking me. "Ryan, dear. Open your eyes." I can tell she's crying. I decide to wrap it up.

I open my eyes to see everyone standing above me. "What happened?" The teacher asked. First of all, if I had really passed out why would she be asking me what happened.

"I passed out." I state jumping up. She looks at me confused.

"Why would you pass out Ryan?" She asked. I hear a few people chuckle catching on to what i was doing.

"I passed out of boredom." I state already walking towards the door. Everyone is laughing now.

"Ryan Rivera! You almost gave me a heart attack! That is not funny! Get out of my classroom this instant!" She screams. I was surprised that she actually raised her voice above a whisper.

I take a bow and leave the room.

"Glad you could make it!" Kyle says. I smile.

He has texted me and told me he was in detention by himself. He told me to get kicked out and hang with him for the rest of the day. So I did.

I have no idea how he got my number though.

"Hey sunshine" he says when I take a seat beside him.

"Why sunshine?" I ask. He called me that earlier. In fact, all of the guys had a nickname for me. Wierd.

"Because your the sunshine in my life. You light up my world." He says with a cheeky smile and a flirty wink. I roll my eyes and smile. I couldn't help but blush, though.

"Wow, I feel honored." I say wiping a fake tear. He just laughs.

"So what did you do to get kicked out?" Kyle asked.

"Pretended to pass out. The woke up. Said I passed out from boredom." I say.

He laughs and I couldn't help but smile. He has one of those contagious smiles which is adorable.

"So you think I'm adorable?" He smirked. I blushed and looked down. I can't not believe I said that out loud. What is wrong with me?

I spent all day with Kyle in detention. It was really fun, to be honest. He's not at all what i thought he would be.

I stepped out of the school and a breeze hit me. I felt good. It's friday, I wasn't alone today. I actually can say I have a friend. I know it sounds stupid that I'm happy just because i have a friend, but it's a big deal. To me anyway.

All my life I've felt alone. No one knows this. I was depressed for a while after my dad got put in jail. I started getting bullied and everyone stopped talking to me when middle school started. My mom started taking on more work so she wouldn't have to look at me or my brother. She said we reminded her too much of our dad. My brother turned eighteen and he couldn't get out fast enough. He left about three years ago and I haven't heard from him beside a few letters, that I refused to read. I haven't really got over the fact he left me. I was alone and depressed for so long and just the fact that someone wanted to talk to me, made me feel, wanted.

I started to walk home because, why not? It was a beautiful day, well not really. The sky is grey and cloudy, and it's windy outside. But I like it. The stormy weather. I have a very wierd obsession with storms. I just love the thunder, it's soothing.

I made it home after about twenty minutes. Thank God it didn't rain. I walked up the front steps. I stopped when I heard a motorcycle. I glanced over to see Jc pull up in his drive way on the motorcycle. I also have a wierd obsession with motorcycles. Their just so cool. I've never ride one but I still like them.

When he saw me he flashed a cheeky smile and a wink. I rolled my eyes, but I couldn't help but smile. I walked in to my house and shut the door with a grin on my face.
