Getting up the next morning, I felt refreshed. I knew why, I just wished it wasn't that reason. I got out of bed and made my way to the bathroom.

I stepped into my closet after a quick shower. I scanned my clothes for a minute before i decided. I put on some black joggers with white designs and a plain cropped t-shirt. I looked in the mirror. A red line across my wrist is all my eyes would pay attention to. I sighed knowing that if I wore this shirt anyone could see it.

After switching into a black off the shoulder long sleeved sweater, I shoved my phone into my pocket and went downstairs.

"Cam!" I called out. No answer. My heart beat quickened.

Is he gone?

No he can't be gone. He said he wouldn't leave again. He promised. Did I chase him away to? Am I that bad? Or maybe it was mom. Maybe he got sick of her, or realized how bad it really was at home and just left. But he wouldn't leave me here just for her to hit me? Would he?

"Ry" I heard from behind me. I let out a huge breath and ran into my brothers arms. He led me to the couch and sat beside me.

"Whats wrong?" He asked holding my face in his hands. I wiped the few tears from my face and took a deep breath trying to calm myself down.

"I thought you left again" I said quietly. I glanced at him to his sad eyes and guilty face looking back at me. He pulled me into a hug and stroked my hair.

"I told you I wasn't leaving you again, okay?" He reassured. I nodded.

I just didn't known if I believed him or not.

"You might just be the dumbest person ever" I say laughing at Kyle. He just told me that he got grounded for sneaking a snake into his house and hiding it in his step dad's closet.

"Its not my fault it bit him!" He yelled in protest laughing at the end. I rolled my eyes pay fully and shut my locker.

"It was your fault for putting him in his closet!" I said still laughing.

"Okay I got this lecture at home, I'm not getting it from you too" he said chuckling at the end. "I gotta get to class" he sighed walking away. I shook my head and walked in the opposite direction to my class.

I sat down I'm my seat in the back and watched as everyone slowly made their way into the classroom. Jc is supposed to be in here, but he hasn't come in yet. Well he's a "bad boy", what do you expect, him actually go to class? Ha ha, that's funny.

I turn around when I felt a tap on my shoulder to face a guy I haven't seen around school.

"Could you hand me my pencil? I dropped it and it rolled under your chair." He whispered so the teacher wouldn't hear. I nodded and reached down and then have him the pencil.

"Thanks Ryan" he said with a cute small smile playing on his lips. I smiled and turned back around to listen to the teacher.

"Okay everyone, get a partner to do this worksheet. Work together, I'll be watching who actually works together to get this done and will base your grade off of that" she explained passing out a papers to everyone.

I have no idea who to work with. I don't have any of the guys in here. My heart beat quickened as I looked around the room for someone. All I saw was people talking, laughing, or already working with someone.

"Hey Ryan?" I heard from behind me. I felt relief rush over me when I see the pencil guy.

What, I don't know his name.
