I didn't really know what to expect when we got there, but certainly not this.
Mark, Brandon, and Kyle standing in front of a huge screen that was set up. There were lights set up around them. There was a small table with food and blankets we layed out in front of the screen.
"What's this?" I asked confused.
"We're celebrating you coming out of hiding." Mark say walking up to me. He pulls me into a hug making me let go of Jc's hand.
"Hiding?" I ask when we let go.
"Yeah. You just went into hiding for a couple weeks. Your out now so we're celebrating." Brandon say. He also gives me a hug.
What's with all the hugs?
"What about me?" Kyle whines standing behind the guys. I grin as he opens his arms. I walk into them and we hug. I don't know what it is about Kyle's hugs. They're just warm and make me feel safe.
I like Jc's more though.
Wait, what?!?
-
We spent hours watching different movies, laughing, talking, and joking around. It was honestly the most fun I had in a long time.
"Could you pass me that bowl?" Kyle asked. I nodded and handed it to him. Right now me and Kyle were cleaning up the food, while Mark and Brandon were taking down the screen. I don't really know where Jc went.
"Thanks." I said quietly. Kyle looked at me confused. "For this. It was great. I had a lot of fun, the most fun I had in a long time actually." I confessed.
He gave me a small smile. "I know. If told me." He said putting down the bowl and turning towards me. My heart stoped. He told him! He freaking told him! Oh my-
"Wh-what did h-he tell you?" My voice shook. No one was supposed to know. Jc only knew what he heard.
"That were feeling a little depressed and he wanted to do something to cheer you up." Kyle said. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
"Wait, so Jc did all of this?" I asked confused. Kyle nodded and gave me a grin. Why would he do all of this? For me?
"We helped though." Kyle spoke up.
I gave him a huge smile and pulled him into a hug. He picked me up a spun me around making me squeal.
"I'm gonna go thank the other guys, and just talk to Jc later." I said walking towards Brandon and Mark.
They already took down the screen. Now they were just talking by a truck, Marks, I think.
"Hey guys." I said shyly. I wasn't completely comfortable around them yet. Well maybe I am, but I'm really bad at talking with people.
"Hey sweetheart." Brandon said using his nickname for me. I kinda like it, it's cute.
"What's up?" Mark asked slinging an arm around me.
"I just wanted to say thank you. For all of this." I say quietly.
"Of course. We just wanted to cheer you up." Mark said looking down at me. I grinned up at him.
"And say sorry for ignoring both of you." I say quietly. I felt really guilty about that. I didn't think they would even notice or care. But turns out they did and they do. Now I just feel bad.
"Hey don't sweat it sweetheart. We get it. You were going through some stuff. Just know you can talk to us, okay?" Brandon said. He looked genuinely concered. I nodded.
"Your crushing me!" I yelled. They both laughed and let go of the hug they both pulled me in.
"Have you seen Jc?" I asked no one in particular. I felt arms wrap around me from behind.
"Aww did you miss me sweetheart?" Jc whispered in my ear sending shivers down my spine. I turned around to face him, his arms now around my waist.
"No. Your my ride back home." I say bluntly ignoring my nervousness of how close we are.
He chuckles and playfully pushes me away.
-
"Wanna come up and watch a movie?" Jc asked once he parked his motorcycle in his drive way. I bit my lip debating on if I should. I decided I'm going to school tomorrow and it's already kind of late.
"Come on shortcake" he pleaded sticking out his bottom lip. Adorably, I might add.
"Fine" I said giving in. He grinned and grabbed my arm pulling my arm dragging me into his house.
"Honey! I'm home!" He screamed when we walking into the house. What?
A girl that looked about ten came running down the stairs. She was really pretty. She had long dark hair that trailed around when she was running and big blue eyes.
"Jc!" She squealed hugging him. Jc bent down and picked her up.
"Hey cupcake" he said.
Aww, that's so cute.
"I haven't seen you in forever" the little girl said looking up at him.
"Aw, sorry cupcake. I've been busy but I'll be home a lot more." He said putting her down she nodded and grinned. She was so cute.
Her eyes trailed over to me. I was expecting he Mr to smile because she seemed so sweet, but she didn't. She glared at me.
"Another one?" She asked scrunching up her nose while looking up at me.
What is she talking about? Another what? Knowing Jc, probably one of his girl toys. I rolled my eyes at the thought.
"No Jenna." He said giving me a apologetic look. He leaned down so he was as tall as Jenna. He whispered something in her hear that made her smile. She giggled and then looked back to me."I'm sorry. I thought you were just another girl that he brings home. I didn't know you were-"
"Okay Jenna. Me and Ryan are doing upstairs. Me and you will have our day tomorrow, okay." Jc said standing back up. She nodded and ran off.
I wonder what she was going to say.
-
We're in the middle of Grown Ups. We're both sitting in the floor leaning up against his bed.
"Jc" I said. He looked over and the paused the movie. He turned so he was facing me.
"I just- uh- wanted to thank you." I stuttered. "Ya know, for earlier with the guys. It was really fun." I said shyly. I avoid his gaze, he was staring at me intently.
I sucked in a breath when I felt his finger under my chin. He moved my head sos I was looking him in the eyes.
"No problem Shortcake." He said smiling. He turned his attention back to the movie. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
This dude, I swear.
