Tap tap

I look up from my sketchbook and walked over to the window. I had to hold in my laugh when I see Jc trying to balance himself on the window sill.
"So? How's it going?" I ask with a small smile leaning against my window. He shakes his head and climbs through into my room.

I burst out laughing after his foot gets caught and ends up tumbling to the ground.

"Ow" he groaned rolling over on his back cradling his arm. I bit my lip to keep myself from laughing.
"Shut up and help me up!" He screamed making me flinch. I ignored it and pulled him up. He fell onto my bed still groaning in pain.

"Are you okay?" I asked suddenly worried that he might actualy be hurt. He groan in response and motioned toward his arm. I sat on the bed and immediatley jumped back up screaming after I seen his arm.

"Jc! I think your arm is broken!" I say loudly.  He looks down at his arm before trying to move it which only made him scream out in pain.

"We have to get you to the hospital." I say. He shakes his head and sits up straighter.

"Nah Shartcake. I'm fine" he says sucking in a breath. I shake my head.

"No your not come on. I'm pretty sure your arms not supposed to bend like that." I say.

After about ten minutes of me trying to convince him, he agrees. We go downstairs and I start to freak out when I remembered Dustin picked up Cam earlier so there was no one to drive.

"Um" I pause and turn around to face him. "How are we gonna get there?" I ask. He gives me a wierd look.

"Your driving." He states. I shake my head.

"Dont you want to get there alive?" I asked over dramatically. He lets out a chuckle before hissing in pain.

"You can't be that bad." He says looking down at me.

"You'll find out when we get in the car." I say sighing in defeat, i grab Cams keys, and then grab the sleeve of his jacket and tug him outside.

"Your right. You suck." Jc says while we're walking into the emergency room. I just shake my head smiling. I tried to tell him. It was honestly really funny seeing him scared like that the whole ride.

-

We were currently waiting on the x-ray to come back. I really hope its not broken. I already feel so bad. In a way, this was my fault because he was coming to see me when he fell.

Why was he coming over anyway? There had to be a reason.

"Why were you coming over?" I asked curiously. He looked liked he was thinking for a minute. Like he was trying to remember.

He pushed his hair out of his eyes, then took his phone out of his pocket. He showed me a picture of me and Dustin from when he took me home from the mall yesterday.

"I had fun today." Dustin says as we stand on the porch of my house. Cam never made it to lunch, so it was me and Dustin all day together. Not that I'm complaining. At all. We hung out, talked, shopped, and just spent the whole day together.

"Me too." I said smiling and looking up at him. He stared down at me for a moment, just staring into my eyes.

This was such a cliche moment, and I love it.

My heart beat sped up as his face got closer to mine. He went past my lips to my cheek and I relaxed a little bit. He gave my cheek a sweet peck and I looked down blushing.

"See ya Ry." He said walking backwards to his car. I just gave a little wave and smile and I watched as he drove off while I stood there like a smiling idiot touching my cheek.

"How did you even get that picture?" I asked. Was he following us? Oh my god! Is he a stalker?!

Calm down Ryan.

"I don't know. Some blocked number sent it to me." He said putting his phone back in his pocket. Who would take a picture of us? It looked like it was taken from the bushes beside the porch. But regardless of who took it, why would they send it to Jc?

An awkward silence fell upon us. I cleared my throat and shifted in my chair not knowing what to say now. I'm just a little creeped out.

"So," Jc pauses to adjust the sling the doctor put around his arm, "Are you two together?" He asked in a strained voice, like he didn't really want to say it.

I shrugged. "No. We just hung out at the mall yesterday." I said. Jc  shrugged. Another awkward silence.

"Good news" a deep voice startled us as it came booming in. "Your arm is not broken" the doctor said. I let out a sigh of relief. He was a big man. On the heavy side and really tall. He had black hair, that was obviously a wig, and a dark mustache.

"But it is spranged. So the sling has to stay on for a week or two." He said. We both nodded.

-

"So I guess I'll see you at school...?" I say as we both get out of the car. We picked up his pain meds and now we just got to my house.

Jc just nods and begins walking away. "Hey," I call out. He stops and turns around. "You okay?" I ask. He looks at me for a minute before shaking his head, he turns around and walks into his house.

I stand the confused and hurt. Was he mad? Did I do something? I walk back into my house, trying to forget it.

     *Jc's Point Of View*

"You okay?" Ryan calls out. I stare at her a minute beforr shsking my head. I go inside. I don't know what's wrong with me. Just something about that Dustin guy makes my blood boil, especially around Ryan.

Your jealous.

No. I'm not jealous. I don't even like her like that. I just don't want her to get hurt. There's something off about that guy, and I'm going to find out.
