𝚊𝚞𝚐𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝟸𝟻, 𝚜𝚊𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚍𝚊𝚢, 𝟿:𝟶𝟻 𝚙.𝚖.My feet felt like lead as I trudged my way upstairs to my bedroom. Ang dilim pa sa buong bahay namin. Siguro kasi aalis na nga si Mommy. The only lighting in the house were the twin chandeliers hanging from above the foyer and dining area. Lalong nakaka-glum ng mood.
Ang bigat ng dibdib ko. Buong katawan ko, parang babagsak. Kasalanan ko naman, eh. Pero ganito pa rin ang nararamdaman ko.
I felt something vibrate inside my bag.
Kinuha ko yung phone na nasa loob ng bag ko and when I finally got the chance to look at it long enough, napamura ako nang mahina.
It was not my phone. It was Shishi's. Ang tanga niya, nakakainis. Parehas na black ang phones namin but sana man lang, inayos niya ang pagbalik.
I pressed the home button to see whose text it was that he received kasi kahit naman siguro may lock code or something ang phone niya, makikita pa rin sa screen saver kung sino ang nag-text and yung content ng text na kasya sa allowed space. Baka kasi siya rin yung nag-text using my phone na walang lock code. But it was Paris.

Maybe Paris and the others were already in Toracco and they were only waiting for Shishi. I wished I was there! I loved Mayonnaise's songs!
I would just text him later.
I turned the knob of the door and pushed it open only to be greeted by a gym tote bag above my bed na mukhang punong puno ng laman. Pumasok agad ako sa loob at tiningnan ang laman no'n. They were my everyday clothes na good for a day plus a set of my uniform. My Mary Jane shoes were inside a stringed pouch.
I heard the door opening again kaya I turned around and found my mom wearing an elegant white coat dress that I knew she bought from Dior. She sent me a picture of that dress while they were in Russia last summer, pinapapili niya kasi ako ng color kung white ba or red. So I said white kasi hindi naman niya birthday everyday.
"You're finally home, Dominika," she said with a sigh habang naka-cross arms pa while a grey Hermes bag hung from her forearm.
"What are you doing here na naman? It's late na! Wala ka bang sariling bahay?"
"Dominika, I need you to stop acting like that," Mommy snarled. He was calling you but you disconnected. And you were with another boy. Sino 'yon?"
Nag-iwas ako ng tingin before taking out all of the clothes inside the tote bag. I had no idea why they packed my things, like we were about to go to an overnight trip kahit maghahatid lang naman ako sa airport, but I did not like it. Nobody had the right to touch my stuff. "He's just my classmate."
I heard Mommy sigh. "Classmate? Sinong classmate? You said may practice kayo for your music project. Is that classmate the same classmate na partner mo sa project niyo?"
