Chapter 51: On the Way

Kouyuu once again invited Seiran, Ryuuki, and Shuuei to go and visit the hot spring they have gone together two years ago. Sera came to Kiyou all the way from Kou province to visit Kouyuu and she said she wanted to go to the hot spring again to have a get together with everyone.

Moreover, it is nearly time for the autumn festival and Sera wanted to see how the couples relationships progressed. She took care of inviting Jyuusan, Shuurei, and Shusui. Since the ladies have agreed to go, the men who adored them agreed to go too.

On the way to the resort Shuuei, Kouyuu, Shusui, and Sera went ahead in a separate carriage. The others came an hour later due to stopping by in a festival.

''Please stop the carriage,'' Shuurei requested when she saw Gunloo tea being sold in a store. ''Look, they have Gunloo tea. I missed drinking that. It's rare for it to be sold outside Sa province,'' she said and got out of the carriage.

''I want Gunloo tea too,'' Ryuuki followed her quickly. A lot of things are being sold since there is a festival.

Meanwhile, Jyuusan's attention was caught by something else. ''Look they everyone is celebrating. Let's check it out,'' she said cheerfully and jumped out of the carriage.

'Can't she at least act more lady like since she is wearing women's clothing,' Seiran thought. Jyuusan pulled him along with her.

Jyuusan saw a magician performing tricks and she quickly run towards it. Seiran had no choice but to follow her. ''Amazing,'' she said and clapped her hands. The magician who is a man about the same age as Ryuuren noticed the beautiful lady watching him and immediately talked to her.

''Shall I play a trick for you milady?'' he asked Jyuusan. Seiran was about to say no since they have to leave already but Jyuusan had agreed. He used cards. ''Now where do you think is my card milady?'' the magician asked.

''Under your sleeve,'' Jyuusan quickly answered since she saw him hide it there.

''Wrong milady. It's under your sleeve,'' the magician said and held her hand and got his card under her sleeves just below her wrist. Seiran gritted his teeth when he saw the trick. While Jyuusan was surprised when her hand was touched and when she was told she was wrong, the 'magician' quickly dropped the card in her sleeve and pretended to get it.

The 'magician' used a coin in the next and Jyuusan pointed to his left hand. He opened it and it wasn't there. ''Wrong milady it's on your – '' the magician was cut when Seiran caught the coin that he was about to drop on Jyuusan's chest.

''Your trick is over,'' Seiran barked and threw back the coin. He glared at the man and pulled Jyuusan away.

''Couldn't you even be a bit gentler,'' Jyuusan protested.

''Tsk. He was just tricking you,'' he said as he removed his hand around her shoulder.

''I know. I was just observing how he does it,'' Jyuusan yapped.

''Idiot. He was about to put the coin on your chest. If it dropped inside your clothes, either he would make you retrieve it in front of him or he would retrieve it himself,'' Seiran snapped back. ''You want to be groped in front of many people?'' he stated and Jyuusan blushed.

Then her attention was caught by a store selling carvings of horses. Seiran sighed and followed as she ran to the store. ''Wow, this looks so cute!'' Jyuusan said as she stared at a mini-horse carving.
