Lost & Found

"Wh-What?! No! That's impossible! How did she die? Huh? Tell me!" Kagome exclaimed as she shook her head furiously, her hands slightly shook and she wore a horrified expression.

"We were fighting a centipede demon and it lunged at Kaede. Nobody noticed until we couldn't find her, the centipede told us this before it died; I have taken that old puny human with me into the afterlife. We couldn't find her. We tried to look for 3 days and we couldn't find her." Sango stated as tears ran down her cheeks, she hastily wiped them away.

"How long ago did this happen?"

"Two weeks ago..."

"What about Naraku?" Kagome asked again, changing the subject.

"He hasn't shown himself since you left with Sesshomaru." Sango answered truthfully.

"I can't believe she's dead. I'm going to go collect my thoughts, I'll see you later." Kagome told her glumly before she left the hut, running to the Goshinboku.

"You smell of salt water, did you cry?" Sesshomaru asked Kagome as he looked at her, he saw the answer.

"Kaede has died!" Kagome told him before she lunged at him and broke down crying.

"It is okay, my love." Sesshomaru told her as he took off his armor and took her into his embrace.

"I will find her, I can't be happy with Kikyo. I want Kagome! Maybe I should go back to the village and ask about her again. It has been 5 months." Inuyasha thought as he ran in the direction of the village.

~With Kagome~

It was raining and Kagome woke up because of it. She noticed she was being embraced in strong arms. She looked at the face of her embracer and smiled, Sesshomaru was sleeping soundly. "You look so peaceful when you sleep." Kagome thought as she sat on his lap, his back was against a tree. She gave him a quick kiss that woke him up.

"More." Sesshomaru whispered as he pulled her closer for another kiss.

"As much as I would love to kiss all day we have to go back to the village." Kagome said after she pulled away, Sesshomaru growled.

"One more." He ordered with a slight sleepy tone.

"Your wish is my command." Kagome jokingly told him before she kissed him again.

"We shall head back to the village tomorrow, for it is raining." Sesshomaru informed when they pulled away, a very small smile taking place. Kagome nodded and hugged Sesshomaru tightly. "I love you." Sesshomaru told her as he nuzzled her neck.

"How cute! Where's the darn pup? Did you decide to get rid of it?" Inuyasha asked jokingly as he revealed himself rom the tree.

"Inuyasha!" Kagome exclaimed angrily.

"What? Don't I get a hug too?" Inuyasha asked sarcastically as he opened his arms.

"Get out of here." Sesshomaru emotionlessly told his brother as he stared nonchalantly.

"No! You can't tell me what to do!" Inuyasha yelled as he stepped closer, each step bringing him closer to the couple.

"What are you two mutt-faces doing near my mate?!" Koga shouted as he appeared out of nowhere, Kagome could feel the headache coming.

"Fantastic.." Kagome whispered sarcastically, nobody heard due to her light tone except Sesshomaru.

"She is taken, leave." Sesshomaru stated as he stood, his height towering over the other two.

"What?! How dare you! Show me!" Koga yelled as he neared, Kagome immediately showed her marked neck to both men. "How dare you!" Koga yelled again, he lunged at Sesshomaru but missed. Sesshomaru quickly grabbed Kagome and left.

"We will settle this elsewhere." Sesshomaru declared before he left. He set Kagome down near the Goshinboku and ran back.

"Sesshomaru!"

~With Sesshomaru~

"Fools! How can they think they can defeat me, Sesshomaru, Lord of the West." Sesshomaru thought as ran towards Koga and Inuyasha. When he arrived he found them fighting, he used his poison claws to injure both. Inuyasha grabbed Tetsusaiga and Koga used his signature to try and hurt Sesshomaru, but Sesshomaru grabbed Koga's leg and swung him towards Inuyasha, both fell onto the ground. Unknowing to them, Kagome was also having her own battle; against Naraku.
