In Dire Need Of Assistance

"Now is not the time to talk and enjoy life people! Naraku is out there and we are here just lounging like nothing's wrong. Kagome died because of him so let's kill him! We should be out looking for him right now." Inuyasha told them once he successfully got himself out of the ground.

"You are for once correct, little brother." Sesshomaru told Inuyasha as he glanced at Kagome, she looked deep in thought.

"I remember hearing something that might help. If we fail we shall head north, where the trees and water are absent." Kagome told them as she sighed.

"That's Lord Akuma's territory." Her and Sesshomaru said in sync.

"Lord Aku-who?" Inuyasha asked as he flicked his ears and scratched his head in confusion.

"Lord Akuma, Inuyasha. Show some respect, he is a lord." Kagome scolded him as she glanced at Sesshomaru.

"Correct and we aren't exactly allies." Sesshomaru told them as he turned to Inuyasha, he was rolling his eyes.

"That's it!" He suddenly shouted. "We can get your friends or allies or whatever to help us locate and defeat Naraku!" He added with a cocky grin.

"It's not as easy as that, Inuyasha." Sango told Inuyasha in Kagome's stead.

"Correct." Kagome told them as she stood against the wall and slumped down. "We could probably get Lord Tadao to help us but then we would have to justify why we were in Lord Akuma's territory." She added glumly.

"We don't need permission to kill Naraku, Kagome." Inuyasha told her as he stood straight and smirked. "We can always barge in with force."

"No, Inuyasha. We don't want Sesshomaru or Kagome to become enemies with Lord Akuma." Miroku finally spoke as he shook his head.

"I suppose you're right." Inuyasha gave up as he sighed.

"I will seek permission from Lord Akuma to enter his territory. I shall ask where the trees and water are absent and let him lead me there." Kagome suddenly stated as she deeply thought about her plan.

"I shall accompany-" Sesshomaru was interrupted.

"No, I shall go alone. I am the Lady of the West, he dares not aid my request." Kagome denied as she stood and walked to the door. "Follow me in the sky, try not to get caught."

"How will Lady Kagome enter his lands?" Miroku asked with a worried expression.

"I believe she is faking needing immediate assistance when she arrives." Sesshomaru answered as he beckoned them outside.

"Miroku, Sango, and Inuyasha, mount the twin-tailed cat. We shall see to the sky." Sesshomaru told them as his cloud appeared and whisked him away, he masked his presence so nobody could sense him. Kirara and the others followed close behind.

~With Kagome~

"I need to arrive there quickly." Kagome thought as she kept walking, she finally came across a border patrol. "I am Kagome, Lady of the West and I demand to see Lord Akuma." Kagome told them as she walked towards them, chin held high with a proper walk that signaled royalty.

     "Lady Kagome?" A voice asked?

"I am glad to have found you so quickly, may we speak where there is privacy?" Kagome asked politely as she looked around at the patrol.

"Of course, follow me." Akuma answered coolly  as he led her through the rest of the forest until they arrived at his castle. "Now what is it that you want to talk about?" Akuma asked as he led her to the garden.

"In your lands there is a half-demon by the name of Naraku and he has been killing innocents with no remorse or mercy. My group and I have been tracking him for years and we finally have a clue on where he is, he's in your territory. I request permission from you to enter your lands without being attacked or seen as invaders." Kagome bowed as she asked, truly hoping for him to say yes.

"I grant you permission under one condition, I accompany your group to see this half-demon." Akuma answered as he nodded in approval, his hand finding its way to his chin.

"That is fine." Kagome replied nodding. "He is in a place where the trees and water are absent, do you happen to know of such a place in your lands?" Kagome asked him with a hopeful expression.

"I do, it is in the outskirts of my territory." Akuma answered as he looked in that direction.
