[Days Without Sex: 3]
I turned around and glared at the back of Prince's head, he's been drumming his nails on table since he walked in the kitchen.
"Prince."
"Yeah." he said with no emotion.
"Can I ask you something?"
"Uh-huh."
"When we first started dating..."
"Mmhm..."
"...were you always this irritating?"
He scoffed. "Wow"
I jammed the knife into the cutting board. "Excuse me?!"
He smirked and hopped on the counter. "You seem a little angry, breaking yet?"
"No!" I snatched the knife out the board and resumed cutting the banana, I chopped it way harder than I needed to but he was pissing me off. "I'm doing fine, your just making unnecessary noises"
"Oh am I?"
"Yes you are!"
"Fine, i'll be quiet for you dear." He kissed me on the cheek and hopped off the counter, taking a seat at the island.
I started stacking our banana nut pancakes on the plates, garnishing them with banana slices and crushed walnuts. It was completely silent in the kitchen. I couldn't help but focus on his breathing. "Seriously breathe louder Prince, that's great"
He glared at me as I set his plate down in front of him. "Thank you dear."
I scowled at him, cutting into my pancakes. He picked up the syrup, my homemade blueberry syrup. Prince loves it. He grumbled looking into the jar.
"What is it now?"
"Jas you got butter in the syrup."
I scrunched my face up. "I'm sorry, go around the butter."
"Whateva Jas, whatver." He started back at his pancakes, scraping the plate just to make some damn noise. I did the same thing.
"You always complainin'." I looked up at him. "What about you?"
He paused. "What about me?"
I raised my brow at him. "Mr. Always Leavin' Stuff Out The Refrigerator."
He dropped his utensils, propping his elbow up on the table. "See that's where you wrong Jasmyn, I don't be leavin' stuff out baby."
"Oh really." I reached over and grabbed the orange juice, I slammed infront of him. "Then what is this Prince? Hm, you 'member this"
"Yeah." he scoffed, picking up his glass. "I left that out for you, I knew you was gon' want some."
I couldn't help but laugh at his lack of knowledge. "See you should've been named Pinocchio instead of Prince"
"And why is that?" he asked before drinking his glass.
"Cause that's been sitting out for a week."
He immediately spit it out to the side of him, glaring at me as he wiped his mouth. "That's cold baby."
"Mmhm." I went back to my pancakes as he tried to wash his tastebuds off with my glass of water.
He set my glass back down by my plate. "Well atleast I don't snore."
"I do not!!"
"Oh yes the hell you do!!"
I threw my fork down. "How the hell you gon' get mad at me for doin' somethin' I don't even know i'm doin'?"
