I paced the floor of Jerome's hotel room, my hands were shaking like crackhead. I was taking trying to pull myself together. Tears, eyeliner, and mascara coating my cheeks, it was times like this when I wanted my mom. I wanted Hannah. I wanted my grandma. I wanted somebody. Anybody. I was once again in the middle of one of the most intense breakdowns and no one was here for me.

As always, no one is here for me.

There was a knock at the door. When your mad everything seems to piss you off, that very sound made my blood go even further over it's boiling point.

"Go away!" I called out.

"Housekeeping.." a woman called back to me.

"Go away please!!"

She knocked again. I growled a little. Does this bitch not understand English.

I walked near the door. "Come back later! Damn!"

She knocked again. I groaned and swung open the door. "What don't you-"

I jolted at the sight of Prince standing next to a hotel maid. Her jaw dropped and a smile beamed on her face. "J-J-Jasmyn!!" she squealed, holding her hand to her chest. "I. Love. You. Your my queen. I have all your albums. I think what your doing for music is amazing. Your voice is literally blessing the airwaves. I've been to all your tours!! I can't believe this is happening to me!!"

I forced a smile on my face. "Thank you, I love you too baby." She fumbled to pull out a notepad and pen and shakily held it out to me. I happily signed and gave her a hug.

"What's wrong why are you crying queen?" she pouted.

"Ah ya'know every girl needs a good cry every now and then." I lied.

"Jasmyn." Prince exhaled.

My face dropped and I cut my eyes at him.

"That'll be all." he dismissed her.

"Well.....ok... I love you Prince. I love you Jasmyn." She look at us both one last time before walking off pushing her cleaning cart away. I watched her for a minute. It's people like her that inspire me to keep going. That let me know i'm on the right path. It was quiet between us and I focused in on the sound of his breathing. I could see him staring at me out the corner of my eye. I didn't wanna make eye contact. I knew I wasn't strong enough to look him dead in the eyes for too long. I knew i'd be weak. I knew i'd break and I knew that he knew that. I stepped back into and tried to slam the door but it ran into Prince's foot.

"Move your foot or i'll break it." I threatened, looking down at the floor.

"Can we talk?"

I didn't reply, I walked away from the door. I didn't want to give him the satisfaction of knowing that I actually wanted to hear him out.

I took a seat on the couch, tapping my foot restlessly.

"Jasmyn I just- All I wanna do-"

I don't know if it was the tapping or the sounds of his voice but the mix of them together, set me off. "WHAT WHAT PRINCE WHAT!!!! WHAT DO YOU WANT!!"

He jumped a little out my outburst. "You ever be just so happy in life Prince? Life is just so nice. Gettin' money. Losin' weight. Eatin' right. Edges are back like they never left. Skin is just glowin'." I started pacing the room. "Songs sounds like hit singles and THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN A DOG ASS NIGGA WANNA COME INTO YO' LIFE AND FUCK SHIT UP!!!"

His eyes widened. I walked up to him and pointed my finger to his chest. "LEAVE ME ALONE!! SHIT!!...IF YOU AIN'T GON' BE RIGHT, AIN'T GON DO RIGHT LEAVE ME ALONE BRUH!!"
