Peace and Harmony

I highly regard the values
Peacefulness and harmony

So much so that this conviction
Is literally woven into my soul

I work for peace and harmony
In my own life and in the world

I genuinely believe to the core
Of my very being that others

Work for these same ideals
Within their lives too

Isn't a world where people work
To communicate clearly

And come together to solve issues
In an amicable way to create harmony

The reason we are all on this
Earth together?

Is it not truth
That LOVE conquers all?

My foundation is being rocked
In such a way that it is

Impossible for me to comprehend
The sinking realization

Through a lifetime of situations
And observations

That not everyone person
Values peace and harmony!

I am sadden beyond words
With this knowledge

That some people enjoy and
Actively pursue

Manipulating others and situations
To cause drama and chaos and disturb

The values of peacefulness
And harmony that I believe is the

Very reason we are put into
This life to work towards together

There are people that would rather
Live in turmoil and ripple their

Negativity towards others doing the
Exact opposite of what I believe

Is the path to an incredible world
For all to grow and thrive

They pursuit things like bullying
As a means of entertainment

Will not compromise even when
It is a guaranteed win-win situation

I am absolutely dumbfounded
That people would rather live

In stress and darkness
Because of their own choices

Than pursue love and happiness
And peacefulness and the harmony

That is the birthright
Of each human in this world

Call me a crazy idealist a naive person
For thinking this way but I still believe.

(I can now identify that these strong convictions and incredulous realization that others are not working together is a part of me being an INFJ. And I cannot allow anyone with ulterior motives to diminish my values and destroy my vision for peacefulness and
harmony in this world. Love is always the answer. It always was and always will be. Blessings to you, dear reader--I'll be here writing as a champion for peace, harmony and, as always, love.)
