The Annoyance

Adrien's POV

"ADRIKINS!!!!......IS THAT YOU!?!?"

A skinny blonde with a plump sun yellow dress came rushing toward Me and Mari. The dress started to flare out right at her hips and went all the way to the ground. Her hair was pulled into and elegant ponytail and make up caked her face. The most noticeable was the blue eyeshadow that was painted over her eyes. It sounds horrible but this girl seemed to pull it off. And that girl was none other than...

"Chloe?" I looked at the girl. that was defiantly Chloe. She looked a little different considering I haven't seen her in at least 4 years. She looked more like a young woman. Curvier and prettier.

She pushed Marinette away and came and hugged me. It was a bone crushing hug. "Oh Adrien I missed you!" Said Chloe. I look over my shoulder to see Marinette on the dirt ground rubbing her head and a petit red head lady by her side not helping her up. "Where have you been!? You just left and never came back! You caused me so much distress!" Chloe said dramatically. "Sorry Clo. I had a career change. I sail now." I replied. "Like those filthy pirates!?" Said Chloe. She was kinda right. We could be considered pirates. We stole a little here and there but we were considered noble pirates at least. I rubbed the back of my neck sheepishly," yeah you could say that. Hehe."

Marinette's POV *a few mins prior*

Me and Adrien's arms were linked and my steps where still a little shaky. Adrien was actually being a gentlemen for once. What a surprise. Then I heard a shriek. "ADRIKINS!"
My first reaction was that someone got shot! Or badly hurt, but then I turned around and saw a blonde come running toward us. She pushed me out of Adrien's grasp and I fell to the rough, rocky ground. "Ugh. That hurt." I said as I rub my head. This must be Adrien's girlfriend. His maiden is finally reuniting with her long lost sailor at sea. Hint the sarcasm. The girl was pretty and Adrien wasn't an ugly guy so I can see how they were together. They started talking but I didn't listen.

That's when I heard the girl, who's named appeared to be Chloe, speak. "And who might this be?" "I'm Marinette." I said "just a normal girl." I whisper under my breath. I extend my hand gesturing for a hand shake. She hesitantly shakes it and gives a stressed, fake smile. "Why are you with my Adrien?" She asked. I look over to Adrien with surprised eyes. "Uh well," he started. I saved his butt. "We are doing business." I simply state. She gives me the cold shoulder and turned around back to 'her' Adrien. "Now Adrihoney,  why don't you take me on your ship. I want to see what it's like to be a pirate. And I haven't seen Nito and Plague in ages." I laugh a little. "You mean Nino and Plagg."

She gives me a deadly glare. If only looks could kill. "Shut it Maritrash!" She harshly states. "Chloe!" Said Adrien a little taken back by her words. "Now come on Adrien. Take me to your Boat!" With that we continue to the ship. Now Chloe and Adrien Linked arms and I straggle behind them with a little frown on my face. Why am I frowning? I'm not sad! Now I don't have Adrien breathing down my back 24/7. This may be actually kind of nice. But some how, those words don't convince me.

Adrien's POV

Great. Now I'm stuck with Chloe. I mean she is nice and knows how to make a man feel great but, there is just something about her that just nags me. And it keeps me from really loving her. We walk aboard my ship. It's sunset now and most of the crew has trickled in to the dinning hall and started eating. I showed Chloe around the top deck and brought her to the dining hall to reintroduce her to my men. The sun was now set and me and Chloe resided to the captains quarters. Aka my room. "Plagg knock if something happens, if not do not disturb." I told him. He nods, "Aye aye Cap"

Marinette's POV

We boarded the ship once again and I was with my new clothes. I put my old clothes down below deck where my imprisonment cage was. The sun had set and most of the crew was done with dinner and in the main sleeping room. It had a dozen or so hammocks and that was the crew members beds.  I still had a saddened smile on my face and Plagg seemed to notice. He was on the top deck sitting beside Nino just enjoying the peaceful, dark, night. "Hey Marinette, would you care for a drink?" He said holding up a beer. " I shrugged "why not." I walked over to them and grabbed the drink Plagg held up. "Hey Mari," said Nino, "you looked a little sad, thought a drink with some friends would cheer you up. "Friends?" I questioned. "Yeah why not," replied Nino, " you look like you could use a few." I smile and take a chug of the drink. It tasted bitter yet sweet and had a very unusual after taste. I scrunch up my nose. Nino giggles. "Don't worry you get used to it." Said Plagg.

"Don't worry Mari. Your not the only one that gets angry when Chloe is around." Said Plagg. "Oh you mean the hag obsessed with yellow." I state sarcasm dripping from every word. We laugh . "More like BourBitch." States Nino taking a sip of his beer. I laugh again. So does Plagg. "I love that boy but some times he can be so oblivious." Said Plagg. "And stupid." Added Nino. I nod in agreement. "Don't worry Mari. He won't pull through with the deal. I hope." Said Plagg, "he sees something in you." Said Nino giving a smirk. "M-Me? Yeah right. I'm at his throat every other word and he had Chloe hanging all over him. And she is much prettier than me!" I state. Nino mumbles under his breath, "I could argue that." Plagg chuckles.
"Ever if I did have a chance he won't like me. I'm just a  mermaid. I'm not special. And He's selling me for gods sake! Plus I don't even like him like that! " I said. "That's true." Said Plagg wiggling his eyebrows, "but are you sure you don't have a soft spot for the Captain?" "Im positive!" I said with annoyance in my voice.

"Anyway we should be getting to bed. It's late and I got the early shift in the morning." Said Nino giving a yawn. "You're probably right." Stated Plagg. We all walk below deck a make a separate turn and head to the cage. "Where are you going?" Asked Plagg. "To the cage. It's the only place where I think I can sleep. It's kinda my home on the ship." I replied. "Oh not its not. Follow me." Said Plagg. I raise my eyebrows in surprise but follow his orders. We go down a separate hall with a few door. Plagg opens the first door to the left. "Now you sleep here. I hated seeing you in that cage." It was a small room with a bed, dresser and mirror. "Are your serious?" I ask eyes wide. "Positively." Plagg replied. I hug Plagg. "Thank you!" I whisper-yelled. He nods. "Now if you need me the crew sleeping quarters is right around the corner." I nod. And walk into my new room.
