A Power Unleashed

Marinette's POV

The nerve of that girl and that idiotic captain. When Hawkmoth said to 'tie them around the main sail' he really only meant me. Ugh. After Hawkmoth said 'Volpina if you please' that was cue for making a copy of me! Volpina had the power to create illusions apparently. So she made a perfect illusion of me. Everything was identical. We even had the same shaped bruises in the same places. What other crazy tricks did that Volpina girl have!

Now they took Tikki to the rock and left me on board tied here helpless. I saw Adrien's ship pull up in the distance. I saw Adrien disembark off his ship along with the others. I saw Hawkmoth and Adrien argue about something. I was so far away I could only hear every other word. Something about a deal and a ring. So Tikki was right. He did make a deal to protect me. That stupid cat. Now he was going to get himself killed because of me.

Adrien's POV

No! No no no! This can't be happening! She can't be dead! She can't be! Not when I was just about to have her back!

I could only stare at the body of the girl that I love. It was lifeless and a pool of blood formed around her head. "You little piece of shit Hawkmoth! How dare you!" Hawkmoth only laughed. "You didn't have to kill her! Why did you do it? You should have killed me!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. "Oh I plan too." He replied. He walked over to me standing right in front of me.

My anger was at its peak. I was so angry and mad. Sadness lined my anger. I had lost the love of my life. And I had seen it right in front of my own eyes. My fingers twitched. I looked to my hand and saw my ring was swirling with a dark, black magic. This is what Hawkmoth was talking about.

I screamed "Ahhhhhhhh". I was done holding it in. The dark magic from my ring crept along my arm turning my white pirates shirt into a black one. The two men that held me down let go and stumbled back. My pants were now black . With in seconds I was wearing a Pirate Captain's suit that was black as night. I stood up on both my feet. My senses spiked. I could see and hear everything ten times clearly. It was an amazing feeling. Everyone around me gave me a mouth gaping look. I grinned at this. I looked straight at Hawkmoth and charged at him.

I jumped on top of him. Trying to punch him. Some of his Akumas grabbed me by the shoulders my threw me off. I charged at anyone who go in my way. I punched the Akumas and sliced them with my new artificial claws. I quickly ran over to my crew and untied them shouting a word that popped into my head. "Cataclysm!" I was two Akumas away from Hawkmoth when I heard a voice. It was distant and faint but it was real. It wasn't just my imagination and it was to far to be any of my crew members. I stopped dead in my tracks and listened.

It...it was calling me. It was calling my name! "Adrien!" It said "Adrien!!" I knew that voice! I swear on my life I knew it! It was "Marinette." I turned my head to where the voice was calling. It was at Hawkmoths ship. How could it be Marinette? She was dead!

Or was she?

I ran at my top speed and jumped from rock to rock using my new agility. I was finally at the ship. I landed on the top deck with a thud. "Adrien!" It screamed. "Over here!" I quickly followed the voice. Then I saw her. The real her! "Marinette!" I said with mush relief. She smiled at me showing no sigh of terror because of my current appearance. I stepped closer to be stopped once again. I was blinded by a poof of smoke.

"Haha not so fast Kitty. We still haven't fought yet!" Said a cheerful voice. It was Volpina. That crazy bitch. "Don't call me that! Only one person can!" I heard more footsteps on the deck. I was thinking it was more Akumas but it was my friends. Alya, Nino, and Plagg carrying an injured Tikki. They were all here. I could use the help.

I needed Marinette. I came for her and that was the only thing on my mind. I charged once again at Volpina avoiding her sword swipes and punches. More Akumas came on board putting Alya, Nino and Plagg to work. In the corner of my eye. I saw Hawkmoth standing by the Captains wheel.

It was an intense fight between me and Volpina but finally Volpina was down. I was about to slice her throat but I pulled back. I couldn't do it. I not that type of person. I happen up and turned around. My friends were breathing heavily but three akuma soldiers were down. I hopped up and turned to Marinette. I touch the rope she was bounded with and it slowly turned to dust.

She stumbled forward and I gracefully caught her. She pulled me into a bear hug. Her head going softly into my neck. Mine doing the same. Joyful tears streamed down her face. "Adrien. You came for me!" She hugged he tighter. "Of course I would." I replied back. "You stupid kitty!" She said. I twirled her around still holding her tight. I was never going to loose her again.

The sound a sword being drawn was heard. I looked up to see Hawkmoth coming for us. He easily took down Alya and Nino with one punch. Plagg was a tougher opponent but was too taken down. Hawkmoth charged at us. Marinette's head was still buried in my chest so se couldn't see a thing.

I wasn't going to loose her. Not again.

I turned my body around so my back was to Hawkmoth. I push Marinette lightly away to where she was a few feet from me. That's when I felt the pain. I looked down at my stomach to see a sharpened blade completely through my gut. I looked up at Marinette. She crystal blue eyes where the size of boulders. All she could do was stare. All I could do was smile.

I love you Marinette.

I fell to my knees and slumped over onto the wooden deck.

Marinette's POV

Adrien's piercing green eyes rolled into the back of his head. "Adrien." I ran to him and got to my knees. Hawkmoth had killed his son. I set his head in my lap. "No Adrien, stay with me!" I had just had him back! Why does this always happen to me! I shook him trying to get him to wake up and open his eyes. He coughed in response. A sign he was alive. "I'm-im alright Mari. Just...a little pain in the stomach." He wheezed out. I looked at his stomach and and a wet substance oozed out. It was his blood.

A dazed Alya came rushing to up. "Marinette! I can help. I can help him just like I helped you. Just take out these bastards!" I nodded and stepped in front of the injured Adrien.

A pink magic swirled around me as I walked toward Hawkmoth. "You hurt me. You hurt my friends. You hurt my Family!" I ran as fast as I could taking down the Akumas that kept coming on board and getting in my damn way! The pink magic continued to swirl. I was now in pink sashes that ran along my arms. I was in a red and black spotted corset with a long flowing pink skirt. My hair was in two pigtails. I stopped dead in my tracks once all the Akumas where down, I stood straight in front of Hawkmoth. I put my hands together in front of my chest and whispers the scared words Tikki taught me.

"Lucky Charm"
