The Images

Adrien's POV

We had finally made it to Port Dupont. It was a little unusual. We had made it unscathed, with no excitement and no new citing of any mermaid. The crew seemed to be going back to their usual selves. They were happy and cheerful just like before, when Marinette was still with us.

Every single day I thought about her. In some way, shape or form, my mind would always wonder back to the memories we shared together. I love Marinette. She was the one girl I truly cared for. And I had just throw her away.

Alya was not quite the same yet. I could tell she missed her best friend dearly. She knew why I had to do it so thankfully she held no grudge against me. She always put on a smile for Nino but I know he could see right through it. You could tell in his eyes. Nino and Alya had grown close and I know how Nino felt for the girl. If only he had the guts to tell her.

"Come on Cap. Time to make our daily runs." Said a tired Plagg. That's another thing, Plagg has seemed off lately. He seemed very tried and always thinking. Sometimes I would catch him looking off into the distance thinking intently. Other times I would see him stop his daily chores and just sit staring at his feet. It was almost like he was sensing something. Every time I asked him what was wrong, he would just reply, "oh it's nothing. It must be the waters." Yes we sailed in some strange seas, but something was defiantly wrong. But Plagg wouldn't open up, and it annoyed me.

I nodded my head signaling for us to go. Plagg and I made our way off the ship. I heard a ruckus behind me to see Nino scurrying behind us. "Wait for me! I need to get off this ship. I've been on it for to long." He said. I laughed at his remark and said, "just don't weigh us down okay." I gave a smile and Nino said, "Aye aye cap."

Today was just a lazy day for the crew. I gave everyone off. They needed it and deserved it. But as the captain it was my kid to do what was needed and Plagg and Nino were nice enough to accompany me.

The crew was mostly low on food. We are pigs and we need our food. We also needed ammunition for our guns and cannons. We made our way over to a few food stands picking up whatever looked good an fresh. We carried some bags picking up some amo along the way. We took a short cut through a back ally when suddenly everything looked fuzzy. My arms fell limp causing me to drop the bags I was carrying and My legs gave out causing me to fall to the gravel ground. "Adrien!" Yelled Nino. My mind was still hazy and my right hand burned with pain. "Yo cap! Are you alright?!" Asked Nino clearly worried. Plagg propped me up against a wall. He shook me a few times trying to get me out of my daze.

What was happening to me?

"Nino? Adrien? Plagg?" Said a voice. It sounded familiar. "What the hell happened to Adrien?" Nino turned around to see "Alya!? What are you doing here!?" Said Nino. "I got bored back on the ship so I came to look for you guys. I'm glad I did." Said Alya. "What happened?" She asked again. "I don't know." Replied Nino, " we were walking and all of a sudden he just collapsed."

My mind was foggy. Everything was still a little blurred. I could feel Alya check my pulse and feel my forehead for a fever. "Well he seems fine...but that ring he is wearing is burning." She said. "What." Asked Plagg. I touched my ring and it really was burning. A green glow emitted from it.

What the hell is going on?

"Oh god." Said Plagg. I shot straight up. My mind was no longer foggy but unbelievably clear. Images flashed before my eyes. They were strange, like little signal coming through to me. Then one image caught my attention.

"Adrien's miraculous was activated." Said Plagg. "His miracu-what-now" asked Nino. "His miraculous. It's a powerful stone that grants it's user with a certain power and right now it looks like it's trying to make contact with his partner." Said Plagg. "His partner?" Asked Alya just as confused as Nino. "Yes. There are two stones that have a unique bond. They are connected. Adrien posses one of them." Replied Plagg.

"Well who possesses the other?" Asked Nino.

Everyone was talking while the images where swirling through my confused mind. Then I caught site of something I never wanted to see. All the possible scenarios and fears that I put aside had come back.

I saw and image of Marinette.

It was horrible. She was all tied up. She was in her mermaid form. Her hair was down and covered her face while tears were in her eyes. Her wrists dripped with blood because if the ropes and she sat in a glass box full of water with her hands over her head. Bruises covered her body along with a few occasional cuts. But worst of all, her face showed no sign of what I was used to seeing. No smile, no light in her eyes. She wore a frown that shower hurt and worry. Another mermaid was by her side but looked older and unconscious.

Then when I thought it couldn't get any wore, a black figure came from the shadows. It brutally slashed a sword across Marinette's chest.

"Ahhhggggg" she screamed. " Stop! Please! Someone Help!"

The image disappeared in a flash and I was brought back to reality. "Marinette!" I screamed. "Marinette! She's-she's in trouble!"

A/N: The chapter started out slow but ended good! Hope u liked it! And also I have over 100 followers omg!!! I feel so loved. Anyway, we finally had Adrien's POV again! We are finally getting some more action!! Sorry for errors and see ya next time.
