Jade Stone and Blaze Daniels used to be bestfriends from the age of 3 to 15. In Freshman year Blaze realised that he had the potential to become more popular and run the school with the 'bad boys' of lake view high.
So he left Jade, the nerd and his...
For the rest of the weekend I stayed in my room. I'm not even sure if my family knew I was there. I only went downstairs for food a couple of times over the weekend and I always tried to avoid them whenever I did.
I received a few text messages and whatsapps from Blaze and a couple of his friends; Aidan and Preston but I ignored all of them. I didn't feel like talking to anyone right now. I didn't get any messages from Reece and Faith though.
The light streaming in through the window shone directly onto my face making me slowly open my eyes. I completely forgot to close the blinds last night. Knowing I wasn't going to get anymore sleep I slowly rose from the bed, although it had been three days since the incident, the pain felt as if it had intensified.
I made my way over to the bathroom and did my business before I undressed for a shower whilst trying to avoid looking at myself in the mirror. I already knew my face would have been swollen and red just from the crying I did last night.
I took a quick shower then made my way to my closet. I chose to wear leggings and a hoodie; I didn't want to wear anything revealing or anything which would draw attention to my body.

I put on my sunglasses, rings and trainers. I always keep my ear piercings in all the time. I have 3 lobe piercings in each ear, one cartilage piercing in one ear and in the other one I have a tragus piercing and a daith piercing hoop.
I made my way to my car outside, deciding to skip breakfast for the third day in a row. I drove slowly to school, my mind still thinking about what happened on Friday. Hopefully no one would know what happened at school.
I pulled into the parking lot and parked in the back corner attempting to stay as discreet as I could. I made my way into the school taking off my sunglasses and putting up my hood up. I stopped at my locker before class.
I gathered my books and carried them as I made my way to my first class. I sat at the back of the room, looking down and keeping my gaze on the table infront of me. The room started to fill up and I felt people sit down on either side of me. Once I heard the voice I didn't have to even look up to confirm who it was.
"Look who it is Leah, my ugly snake of a cousin" I ignored the two girls as they spoke about me.
They continued to speak about me while I stayed quiet trying to avoid any conflict with them. Once class started they both went quiet for about ten minutes when it was Leah who spoke next.
"How's life at home Jade? Your stepmothers not been giving you a hard time has she? I know she thinks she's your mother now and everything since yours died. It's a shame really, she should have dropped dead before she made the mistake of having a daughter like you."
All the composure I had flew out the window and the next thing I knew I had Leah up against the wall, my forearm over her throat. I had always been much stronger than all the girls in our group so it was easy for me to keep her against the wall as she struggled.
