~Jade's POV~
After Blaze sang to me we ended up cuddling in bed and I was just about to fall asleep when there was a knock on the door. I felt Blaze shift from his position behind me when he got up to open the door. I turned over so that I could see Blaze with the help of the light coming in from the hallway outside, I could hear their conversation clearly from the bed.
"Boss there's an emergency." Blaze sighed and I could see him rub his hands over his face.
"What is it?" His voice and body language changed depending on who he was talking to. When he spoke to me he was always kind and happy, when he spoke to his friends he was comfortable around them but when he spoke to his gang members he was always serious and angry. Obviously this was meant to intimidate them which it definitely did."Someone tried to break into the A505 lock up. The alarms went off but there's no confirmation if any thing has been taken." Whatever was stored in the lock up seemed to be important since Blaze was suddenly on edge. He nodded telling the guy that he would be down in a few minutes and shut the door.
I sat up looking over at Blaze who looked unsettled, as if he was worried about something. I got up walking over to him trying to be careful since it was dark. The key word being 'trying' since I had managed to walk straight into the glass coffee table knocking everything over that was on it. A loud smashing sound could be heard in the room before it went quiet again. I could hear Blaze's quite laughter as he neared me.
"Are you okay?" I could tell he was struggling to contain his laughter as he took my hand leading me back to the bed.
"I'm fine." I was so glad it was dark so he couldn't see my blush. I've been blushing too much around him, I never used to be like this. I miss my bad ass attitude."Are you okay? What did that guy want?" Once I mentioned the news that Blaze had just got, all laughter ceased and he was back to being tense.
"Nothing Jade. Go back to sleep I'll be back later." He turned around but I grabbed his hand before he could walk away.
"Please don't start shutting me out every time something happens with your gang, I'm your girlfriend, you can talk to me." The light from the window shined on Blaze's perfectly sculpted face as he looked at me. Instead of responding to my comment he just pulled his hand out of my grasp and walked out the room, slamming the door behind him. I felt my heart drop when he left. I knew this would happen. He would never open up to me, his gang would always be first no matter what happened. I sighed as I felt the tears make a reappearance thanks to my period. I lay back down in the bed trying not to think about Blaze. For the next couple of hours I could hear shouting coming from downstairs which kept waking me up every few minutes. The sun began to come out since it was already around 6:30. I was still awake at 2 o'clock when Blaze left; he's been gone for 4 and a half hours.
I sat up knowing I wasn't going to be getting anymore sleep. I decided to take a shower to wake myself up a bit more. After I showered I changed into some sweats that I had packed and left the room to get some breakfast. I made my way through the silent house trying to avoid any people I didn't know.
A couple of men saw me and I could tell they were thinking bad thoughts when they stared at my body. I rolled my eyes and carried on walking. I maybe different from when I first came back to LA but that doesn't mean I don't know how to defend myself.
I walked into the kitchen and headed straight to the fridge. I was looking through the fridge when the clearing of a throat caught my attention. I turned around to see someone I'd never met before.
"What's a pretty girl like you doing in a place like this?" He stepped into the kitchen closing the door behind him. He was wearing a black suit with a red tie and white dress shirt. He was dressed making the statement that he meant business.
