We stayed in the same position all night, neither of us wanting to move. I heard a groan along with the sound of alarm and I smiled a little.
"Why do you need it so loud? It's like you want to deafen me or something" I sat up slightly to turn off the alarm then I look at Blaze who had his arm over his face. Grabbing his hand I pulled his arm away so he could see me. I stuck my tongue out at him when I saw his grey eyes flutter open. He rolled his eyes and sat up. We looked at each other for a moment before he moved back slightly.
"Go brush your teeth morning breath." He smirked at me when I glared at his nickname for me.
"I don't have morning breath! It smells nice." I got off the bed feeling his eyes on me when I headed to my bathroom. I heard a distant chuckle as I shut the door.I did my usual morning routine and took a quick shower. Turning off the water I grabbed a soft fluffy towel and wrapped it around my body. I walked into my room to see the bed made and no one there. I felt a little disappointed that Blaze had already left. I was about to open my closet when a note on the bed caught my eye.
Morning breath, gone home to change, don't miss me too much I'll see you at school ;)
I smiled a little and rolled my eyes. Leaving the note on the bed I headed to my closet. Deciding to dress nicer than yesterday and start getting back to my old self I chose my outfit.
Smiling at my choice I put on some make up to cover the bruises which seemed to be fading slowly. Once I was done you could barely tell there were bruises and cuts underneath. I grabbed my car keys and made my way downstairs. Stepping into the kitchen I put a pop tart in the toaster and went to grab a drink.
I heard the door open and I felt a presence in the room but I did my best to ignore whoever it was. After a couple of minutes he spoke.
"What happened?" I turned slightly towards Ricky and rose my perfectly shaped eyebrow.
"What do you mean?" He shook his head walked towards me.
"You know what I mean. Something happened. You would never cry infront of anyone like that and if you got into a fight I can almost guarantee you would own up to it. So tell me what happened." I looked at Ricky trying to tell if he actually cared or if he was just getting information for his dear mother."Why would you care? You've never liked me, you've never been nice to me." He looked at me obviously not knowing what to say.
"I know I piss you off a lot but I would never want you to be hurt. I've changed a lot while you were gone. You can trust me Jade." I looked away from him trying to hide the effect his words had on me. I never trust people easily.I glanced up at him after a minute to see him already watching me.
I bit my lip and turned around to face the kitchen counter.
"I was raped" The three words lingered in the air; neither of us saying a word. I'm not sure what came over me when I told him but I felt like I could trust him.I kept the tears at bay trying not to show any weakness around Ricky, I still wasn't absolutely sure if I could definitely trust him but I wanted to believe I could. I felt a hand on my shoulder slightly turning me around. I looked up at Ricky who had a pained look in his eyes. He pulled me in for a hug. He whispered words quietly to me as if he didn't want anyone else to hear.
