Chapter 3

Zayn's P.O.V---

I heard a car pull by the driveway. "Hey guys!" I heard Liam say. I heard footsteps and few giggles. "Nice to see you all again." A particular voice spoke which made me feel warm. No Zayn! I told myself, letting out deep breaths. I walked out of the kitchen with a lit cigarette in my fingers. I saw her dressed casually yet so prettily. She looked at me, her chocolate brown eyes, twinkling. Her lips curved into a beautiful smile and I bit my lips. "Hey Zayn!" She called and I nodded. She frowned looking at the piece of unhealthy object in my hand. I instantly wanted to throw it down and crush it with my foot, but why should I do it just because she frowned ?

I sat on the couch and saw everyone take seats. She sat next to me. Damn! I made myself move away a little and saw Josh sit next to her. He put his arm around her shoulders and she blushed secretly which I noticed. Why the hell was she blushing because of him ? Did she like him ? Zayn! You should care the least! My mind yelled at my heart. I bit my lip and put the cigarette in the ash tray beside. "You look so pretty today." Josh flirted and she smiled wide, turning to my side. She showed off her cute dimples and stared straight into my eyes. She realised the long stare and bit her small red lip, wanting me to pull her close and crash my lips to hers. Control, Zayn! I thought and blinked when she turned away, starting to talk to Louis.

Niall's P.O.V---

Rakhi, Lakshita's friend was next to me, talking to Harry. She had straight black hair that she had now let down. She turned at times making me gaze at those warm dark brown eyes that had a small mole just by her eyelashes on her left eye. Her pink lips always turned up into a lovely smile. She adjusted her brown framed glasses quite often, tilting her head to the side at times, listening to the other person talking.

The door bell rang and Harry rushed to answer. Haley, Sophia and Eleanor walked in with Harry kissing Taylor. The girls greeted us and turned towards the two new girls. "Lakshita here." She introduced herself, hugging the girls. "I'm Rakhi." She said excitedly, pulling the three into a group hug. "Let's have dinner." Liam said and we all took our seats at the table. Lakshita sat between Josh and Louis with Zayn opposite to her. I sat next to Zayn with Rakhi to my left and Sophia to her left.

Josh's P.O.V---

Liam served food for all of us with Lakshita helping him. She sat down next to me and turned, flashing a smile. She picked up her fork and started eating the noodles. She suck them in and ate like a kid making herself look adorably cute. I could see Niall constantly eyeing Rakhi. That guy was crushing on Lakshita's friend for sure. A smile hasn't left my face since I picked her up. Just her being around fills the room with an aura of happiness.

"Hey, Josh." She said, snapping out of my thoughts. "Yeah ?" I asked. "Where do you get some water for myself ?" She asked. "Wait a minute. I'll get it for you." I said getting up when I saw Zayn handing her his glass. His face was emotionless but still it felt like he wanted to give her some water so badly. The day he saw her, he was ignorant. I was happy he felt no emotions towards her. "Thanks.." She said smiling with dimples on her cheeks. Zayn looked like he was controlling himself from suppressing a smile. Her smile instantly made anyone looking at her, smile. I smiled wide just admiring her dimples.

Zayn's P.O.V---
"Lazy ass." She said, glaring at Josh. He laughed, making her smile. She continued eating making conversations with everyone. The boys and girls liked her lots. "Lakshita ?" Josh called grabbing her attention, as well as mine. "Hmm ?" She responded, looking at him. "How was heaven when you left it, Angel ?" He asked. He is making a move. Do something Zayn! My heart told me. No just shut up! Wait until she at least reacts, you idiot. Don't do something stupid! My mind scolded. "What ?!" She asked raising an eyebrow. "Josh Devine! Did you just use a pick up like on me ?!" She asked giggling aloud. He blushed and she pulled his cheeks. "That was cute. But I neither came her from heaven nor am I an Angel." She giggled and he bit his lip. She smiled and looked away, continuing to eat.

"Where did you get your shoes ? They are cool!" Louis exclaimed. "Forever 21." She replied, showing off the white vans on her small feet. "You're coming shopping with me next time!" Eleanor said and she nodded, giggling. "Rakhi, do you want some more of the paneer ?" Niall asked her and she nodded. He served her some and they were having a really good time. He kept cracking jokes and she laughed. Why couldn't I have a girl who I could be happy with ? Why not Lakshita ? But.. No! I shouldn't fall in love with her.

Rakhi's P.O.V---

I fed Niall the paneer and he bit the spoon, not letting me pull away. "Let go, Ni!" I whined and he shook his head. After some whining he did and put his arm around my chair. I controlled the blush and looked at Lakshita having a really nice time with Josh. We were done with dinner. Niall and I were clearing the dishes when his hand brushed against mine. I looked at him and he smiled. "Rakhi ? Would you like to.. You know, go out on.. A date with me.. This weekend ?" He asked stuttering. I blushed and nodded, making him smile wide. "Thanks." He said pulling me into a tight hug and I giggled.

I walked out to see Lakshita playfully hitting Josh. Zayn was glaring at the, but I didn't understand why. He didn't seem to like her much. He talks well to me though, but not her. He bit his lip and looked at me, smiling. "Hey.." I said walking up to him. I sat beside and he sighed, looking at Lakshita. "She's amazing, isn't she ?" I asked and he looked at me. "Rakhi, listen. I dont want her in my life." He said and I raised an eyebrow. "Why not ?" I asked and he looked at me. "I'll tell you when the time is right. Leave it." He said and I nodded.

"Rakhi! It's 9:30 p.m. We have to go home!" Lakshita said jumping up. She walked up to me and pulled me up after smiling at Zayn. He just stared at her and then walked inside. "Bye, Josh." She said hugging him and then everyone else. I hugged Niall and he told me he would text tomorrow. I gave him his number and we walked out. Josh dropped me first and then drove away to drop Lakshita.
