Zayn's P.O.V---

I started the scooter and she scooted close to me, sliding her arms under my shoulders, hugging me. Her breast was pressed against my back, triggering to turn me on badly. I let out deep breaths, controlling myself. She told me the destination and I drove through main roads and alleys. We sang all the way, the wind trying to steal our voices. I looked at the rear mirror and she looked very pretty. The wind pushed her black with brunette locks behind, making it fly perfectly. Her warm eyes were on the road, looking at everything passing by. Her red lips moved according to the lyrics, her voice echoing in my head, sweetly. She pulled up her hood, looking cute. Her hands were back under my shoulders, holding me tight. I turned a corner, slightly bending and her grip got tighter. Her long, pretty fingers were by my collarbone. I looked down a second and noticed her nails not painted which was surprising. Every girl I've ever met always had her nails painted, even if she was going to bed. Her nails looked pretty. The nude nails which was little let to grow a little longer was baby pink in colour. Her chin was on my shoulder, her soft cheek brushing against mine. It was amazing. I was happy she chose scooter instead of a car. It made me feel more intimate with her.

I parked the vehicle and continued singing with her, "CAUSE BABY YOU'RE FIREEEEWORK!" And few people passing by gave us weird which made us burst out laughing. She bit her lip and walked into the parlour which was deserted. I walked right behind going to the counter. "I need an Almond Crunch scoop and a Fig & Honey scoop." She said and the guy nodded, scooping up ice creams for her. "Belgium chocolate. 2 scoops." I said and looked at her. She looked at me, her fingers tapping the tune for Firework by Katy Perry on the counter. "Here." The guy said handing her the ice cream. I took out my wallet handing the guy money when he shook his head. "Lakshita pays me every month end. Not every time." He said and I raised my eyebrow, nodding. We sat outside on a table and she handed me my cup.

"How does the guy know your name ?" I asked and she looked up at me, taking a spoon of her ice cream. "I come here often. Knew Jack since I was 6." She said and I nodded, eating my ice cream. "You like it ?" She asked looking at the ice cream then at me. "Yeah, it's very good. Haven't had something like this." I said, licking my lips and she smiled wide. "I love Icey!" She exclaimed and I raised an eyebrow. "My nickname for ice cream." She said and I laughed, adoring her cuteness. We finished eating the ice cream and sat on the scooter, wearing our helmets. Her hands were now around my stomach and she lay her head on my back, letting out a yawn. I checked the time and it was 9:40 p.m. I started driving and the streets were comparatively silent. The drive was peaceful. The night was cold but with her warmth against my back, I wasn't cold.

She was half asleep and I drove the vehicle smoothly when she yelled "Stop!" I slammed on my brakes quickly and she got down the scooter, rushing to the road. "Lakshita ?" I called, but she did not turn back. I parked the vehicle aside and walked up to her to see something in her arms. "What's wrong ?" I asked and she looked down. A cute little puppy was in her arms, making small sounds. She brushed it's leg and I saw a cut on it. "Come on, we have to go." I said and she shook her head. "I'm not leaving it here alone. It'll get hurt." She said, looking worried. "It's getting late. I don't want you to get hurt. E have to go home." I said and she pouted. "I don't have the heart to leave him here on the streets. He is so cute too. And he is hurt." She said nuzzling the puppy's neck. "Let's take him home." I said and she smiled wide. "Thanks, Zee." She said and I smiled.

I drove us home and on the way the puppy was between Lakshita and I. She held it in her arms, gently, brushing it's fur. She kept whispering "It's okay. We'll go home soon. I'm here. Don't be scared." To the animal. It made me smile knowing how kind and sweet she was. She was very caring to the pup. I parked the scooter in the garage and she got down, waiting for me. She let out a cute little yawn and I put my arm around her shoulder, going inside with her. "Mom! I'm home." She called, kicking off her shoes. Her mom walked out and nearly jumped out of her skin. "Why is this here ?" She asked, pointing to the puppy and moving back. "I brought Caesar home cause he was hurt and I love him, mom." She said and her mom shook her head. "We will not have a dog at time. Leave it in the streets." Her mom said, crossing her arms. "Please, mom." She whined and her mom glared. "No, Lakshita. It's final." Her mom said and walked into the door, slamming the door.

Lakshita sat on the couch, holding the pup close to her chest. "I'm sorry I brought you here. I don't know what to do." She talked to him, brushing his fur. "Hey, Lakshita ?" I called, sitting next to her. She looked at me and her face looked very dull, her eyes showed only worry and sadness, fighting back tears. She looked down at the golden yellow coloured pup, biting her lip. "It's okay. We'll leave him to the blue cross." I said and she shook her head. The pup squeaked and she patted its head. "I won't let go of him. We can't take him away. He needs home. Just like we do." She said and I wondered if she meant moving in with me to live together but brushed that thought off, looking at her. She was sad and that instantly made me sad. I couldn't see her that way.

"I'll take him home." I said and her eyes lit up. "Really ?" She asked and I smiled, nodding. I took the puppy in my hands and it quickly jumped on my shoulder with its wounded leg. "Thank you so much Zayn! You're the best!" She exclaimed, kissing my cheek. I was awestruck, it felt so good to feel her lips on my cheek. Just like how her touch made my insides tingle, the touch her lips was like refreshing. I blinked and looked at her, hugging my side and petting the pup. "Caesar, Zayn will take care of you. He is a good boy. Right Zayn ?" She asked, looking at me. I chuckled and nodded, tickling the puppy. "Don't hurt my boy, Jaavad!" She said giving me a stern look. "Yes, ma'am." I said and walked out of her house, after giving her a hug. She closed the door with a smile on her face.
