Zayn's P.O.V---
I woke up the next morning with my girl cuddled up with me. I rubbed my forehead and let out a yawn, looking at my bundle of joy sleeping peacefully. I slightly took off her arm and walked to the bathroom with my towel. I took a cold shower and dried myself with the towel. I wrapped it around me and walked out, picking clothes from my suitcase.
Lakshita sat up yawning and messed up her hair, more. But she looked hot. She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and walked to the bathroom, grabbing a towel. I dressed up into blue denims and white tee. I packed my bags and hers as she walked out with just the towel. I stopped staring at how good she looked and walked out of the room, carrying the bags.
I was in the lobby when she walked out after a couple of minutes with Louis, with them laughing. So when did they get back to being friendly again? She was in a red tee and jean shorts, her hair put up in a ponytail. She stood in front of me and stamped my shoes with her vans and placed her hands on her hips. "Do I look that good?" She asked and I nodded, she slightly ruffled my hair, giggling. We were going to Delhi by a private bus and that was Lakshita's order. As soon as we got inside, she turned on the radio and sat with me at the back seat. Hindi songs blasted and the girls sang while I did echoes and the boys just clapped rhythmically.
We stopped in a Dabba for food. Lakshita and I ordered some chicken fried rice and a sweet lassie. After a good lunch we got back on the bus. But the afternoon was quiet with all of us sleeping. Lakshita had sat in the front, next to Adya after lunch.
I woke up to find Adya looking at all of Lakshita stuff on the seat but her missing. The bus had stopped and I rubbed my eyes, standing up. We all got out and I stretched my arms when cold water hit my body. I turned to look at Lakshita holding a hose and spraying water on everyone. The whole place was filled with color. "Arey, what are you doing?" Rakhi shouted, running away. "Holi hai!" Lakshita shouted, continuing to drench us wet.
I smirked and removed the jacket I had and moved closer with water hitting my chest. Lakshita was surprised and move back. I tried to catch her but she put the hose down and ran, while I chased. I picked some red holi powder from a big basket and chased. I caught her and spun her, coloring her face in red. She shook her head laughing and I stared at her while she added some blue to my cheek. I chuckled as she pushed me slightly and spun, singing in English to a Hindi song lyric.
"Why is there so much fun factor in me? Did you mix alcohol in the air?" She continued to sing, while I walked around her. Soon that same song blasted through the speakers. The guys in the street started dancing to that song and Lakshita was amused. She cheered them on and they made her subject of the song. Soon there were guys trying to impress.
I pulled her to my side and put more red powder on her face. She looked so pretty. She moved to the side and took a basket of violet mixed with blue and threw the powder on me.
We had so much fun playing around and got to our hotel, still with colors.
I showered after Lakshita did and jumped on the bed. She was playing on her phone and looked up at me as she lost. "So?" I asked and she raised an eyebrow. "What plans?" I asked and she shrugged. "Just tour around the city and I have one work to do." She said and I nodded. "What work though?" I asked and she smiled. "After I finish at Harvard, I am going to study in Loyala College, Chennai. My masters." She said and I nodded, asking her to continue. "For that, I have to go sign some papers in the UK embassy." She said and I sighed, leaning on the pillow.
"Is something wrong?" She asked and I stared at the wall. "You'll leave me." I said and she shook her head. "I never will." She promised and I shook my head. "You will. One day. I am going to lose you one day. Somehow. Sometime. Anytime." I said and she sighed. "Zee... why are you talking all this? Did I do something wrong?" She asked and I shook my head. "I can't imagine living without you. It's so hard. What would I do without you? I will go insane." I panicked and she rubbed my cheek. "Zayn... you are my world. I love you more than anything. I will never leave you alone to suffer. I promise." She said, softly and I buried my face in her stomach, crying silently. She brushed my hair as I fell asleep.
I saw myself in a funeral house. There were people sobbing and dressed in black. Black and white roses were everywhere. I walked around and saw the lads crying. There were familiar faces but I didn't know who. "I am sorry for you." A man said patting my shoulder. "Losing a lovely person is hard. I know. You will get over it soon." He said and walked away. I scrunched my face and walked over to Niall. "Mate, what's happening?" I asked and he pointed at the coffin. I slowly walked towards it when the dream faded.
Lakshita was standing with a unfamiliar girl and they were talking. Her hair was way longer and she looked older but as beautiful as ever. She was dressed in a yellow summer dress and white shoes. "Lakshita?" I called and she turned looking at me with an emotionless. "Yes, tell me." She greeted formally. "Baby..." I hugged her but she pushed me away. "What?! Don't hug me like that. Who are you?" She questioned and I stood there dumbstruck. "Its Zayn Malik..." The girl whispered and Lakshita bit her lip. "I am really sorry, sir. I was just unfamiliar with your face. Nice to meet you." She hugged me slightly and I stood there, heart broken. Why was she being so formal with me? She asked who I am. Does she not even remember me?
