New Year Eve

Zayn's P.O.V---

I sat down on the stage, sipping the bottle of water. It is December 31st. I will be leaving on tour the next week. I havent talked to Lakshita about this... I was scared to do it. I couldnt see her sad. "Hey mate." Niall called, sitting next to me. I smiled at him and stared at nothing in particular. "Are you not well?" He asked and I shook my head. "Its the tour. Lakshita cant come." I said and Niall nodded. "I know, man. Rakhi told me about it." He replied and I smiled grimly. "I am happy for you guys though." I said and he smiled. "Its gonna be alright Zayn. You can always skype, call and text." He said and I shook my head again. "I know. But I wont have her in person. This is the second tour. I need her by my side. She is the positivity in me. My weakness and strength. I need her, man..." I said and he rubbed my shoulder.

"Zee ?" I heard her call. I turned to look at her running to me, holding a bunch of papers. I stood up and she stopped in front of me, panting. "I-- Har--" She stuttered. "Relax first." I said, patting her head. She let out deep breaths and then she stood straight, smiling.

"I have got accepted for the final time at Harvard Music School!" She squealed and I chuckled. She hugged me tight, her heart full of joy. I kissed her forehead and she smiled. "I have a surprise for you!" She said and I raised an eyebrow. "You have two Christmas gifts. I havent given them to you yet." She smiled and I chuckled. "You are my biggest gift, baby. I dont need anything."I said and she shook her head smiling. "I am giving you gifts. No returns." She said and I nodded.

"Lets go!" She said, pulling me to her car. I got in and she started driving. "Where are we going?" I asked and she shushed me. We drove through the streets and she stopped in front of her house. "Wait here." She said and ran inside. I heard brother yell something at her but not sure what.

She came out after a couple of minutes and sat in the car with a bag in her hand. "Open." She said and I took out a big silver box. "What are these?" I asked and she shrugged. I unwrapped to see a huge doodle book with pencils. I picked it up and placed to see a white hoodie under with "My Zee" stitched with red color by the left of the chest side. "You did this?" I asked and she nodded. It was scented with her milky vanilla fragrance as well naturally. "Did you cuddle with this before packing?" I asked and she bit her lip, smiling. "Thank you so much, babe. They are lovely." I kissed her cheek and she giggled.

"Next gift." She said and started driving. We parked in front of Paul's office and she got down, pulling me with her. "Paul?" She called and he came out, smiling at us. "Ready?" She asked and he nodded. We walked into his cabin and sat down. He took his seat and got some papers out.

"Lakshita wasnt allowed by her college for a boy band tour..." Paul started and my face turned upset. I nodded but he smiled. "So I have done something to make you smile." She said, pulling my cheeks. "This was entirely her idea." Paul said looking at Lakshita. I raised an eyebrow and she giggled.

"She is coming on tour with us." He said and my eyes immediately lit up. "Seriously? But her studies. Her career?" I asked and Lakshita rubbed my shoulders. "Online coaching. Because my college didnt allow. Paul has offered me a job. Now I will be able to go on tour with you with everyone's permission." She smiled and I was very happy.

"What job?" I asked and they chuckled. "Your personal assistant." Paul said and I laughed. "A slave?" I asked and Lakshita hit my arm. "Yes, master." She said and I chuckled. I kissed her cheek and she giggled adorably.

We signed few papers and were on our way soon. "Baby!" I whined and she looked at me. "I love you..." I said and she smiled. "I hate you too..." She said making me chuckle. She dropped me off at the arena and followed while I ran inside.

"Whats up, mate?" Niall asked and I hugged him tight. "She is coming on tour." I shouted and all the boys laughed. I jumped uo and down with rest of the reharsals being fun.

We were all going to a fair for New Year eve. We all decided to wear casuals and nothing dressy or fancy. I wore kakhi shorts and white shirt with a cap. Lakshita walked down wear a black crop top, grey palazo and a hat. She had black wedges on and her hair was let down loose. She looked very cute in that outfit. "Hey cutie." I kissed her and she laughed kissing me back.

We were soon on our way to the fair. Louis turned up the radio and 'Live while we're young started playing.

"LETS GO CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY TILL WE SEE THE SUN! I KNOW WE ONLY MET BUT LETS PRETEND ITS LOVE. AND NEVER NEVER NEVER STOP FOR ANYONE. TONIGHT LETS GET SOME... AND LIVE WHILE WE'RE YOUNG!" We sang at the top of our voices, having so much fun.

We got down as we reached and ran inside. Adya, Rakhi and Lakshita quickly ran to the roller coaster. "Zee.. Please come!" She whined, pulling me. I tried running away but when she gave me those big brown eyes, I couldnt say no. As the coaster went up and down and round, J screamed along wih everyone. We were in the front seat. I gripped Lakshita's hand and she rubbed circles with her thumb. Soon I wasnt very scared. My screaming was now out of joy and I had my eyes open.

We got down and Lakshita smiled. "That was fun." I said and she laughed at me. Next we were at the games corner. Lakshita wanted a huge sandal colored teddy bear. I decided to win that for her. I missed the first two times and she had an adorable pout on her lips. "I will get it this time." I kissed her lips and tried, winning the teddy for her. It was nearly as big as her and she carried it around cutely. At times I had to help her hold it.

At last was the ferris wheel. We both got into a basket and sat opposite to each other. I held her hand and as we went up, the London city glowed gorgeously. "Lakshita?" I called as we stopped at the top. She looked at me smiling. Her face was glowing under the stary sky. Her smile was enough to light up the whole world. The twinkle in her eyes were magical. I slipped a ring on her finger and she gasped. "I promise to never leave. I promise to be yours forever. I love you, doll." I said and she kissed me. We kissed softly and I pulled apart to see her teary.

"Its a promise ring. Until its on your finger, I will know you love me and I will never leave. Happy New Year."I said and she nodded, hugging me. And I know I had an amazing new year night with my girl.
