Feelings Confessed

Zayn's P.O.V---

"The Queen's Necklace.." She whispered, sending chills down my spine. "This view is fantastic." I breathed and she smiled, kissing my cheek. The Sodium Vapour lights by the coastline gave the Arabian Sea a golden glow, making it look like a Queen's necklace in the moonless night. Breeze hit us making me feel cold. I felt a warm blanket wrap around my body and turn to see Lakshita inside it with me. "Wanna sit down ?" She asked and I nodded. There was a purple colour couch in the corner with some blankets, cushions and a table beside with some food and beverages.

We sat down and I wrapped an arm around her, looking at the beautiful view ahead us. "Why did you do all this ?" I asked, looking at her. "Because you were sad yesterday. You weren't happy and I wanted to do something for you. To bring a smile on you face. To see you laugh." She said and my heart fluttered. She wanted me to be happy and did so much for me. "You could've just cuddled up with me in my bed and watched Netflix." I said and she shook her head. "Would that be memorable ?" She asked and I nodded. She giggled and pecked my cheek. "But not as much as this would." She said and I nodded again.

She picked up a box and it was pizza. She opened it and I saw a chicken double cheese pizza. I picked a can of coke and popped it open. Picking up a slice I took a bite of it, enjoying it. "Yum!" Lakshita mumbled with Pizza in her mouth and I chuckled. She sipped the can of coke and I grabbed it from her sipping it. She looked at me and giggled, making me raise an eyebrow. "What ?" I asked and she shook her head. She wiped cheese form the corner of my lips and I bit my lip, chuckling.

"Is it possible for us to have met previously, in another life ?" She asked, looking at me. "Huh ?" I asked and she giggled. "Answer." She said and I pursed my lips. "Probably cause it seems like I've known you forever when it has been only 5 months." I said and she nodded. "Where do you see yourself in 10 years ?" She asked and I smiled. "Okay, there is something. Tell me." She said and I shook my head, smiling. "Zayn!" She whined. "Lakshita!" I whined and she giggled so adorably. "You're so cute." She pulled my cheeks and I mimicked her. "Hey! Stop doing that." She said, pouting. "Hey! Stop doing that." I said, pouting. "Not fair.." She complained and I did the same.

"I hate you!" She said, pouting so cutely and I laughed. "Awwwn, but I love you!" I said and she stared at me. "What ?!" I asked and then realisation hit me. "What did you say ?" She asked, staring into my eyes. "It's no..thing." I stuttered, blush creeping up my cheeks. I looked down rubbing my neck. "Zayn, you know I heard it. Just tell me what you mean by it." She said lifting my chin up. "It's.. Leave it." I spoke, nervously. "Why don't you tell me, Zee ?" She asked. "Because.. I'm nervous and scared." I said and she smiled. "Close your eyes. Don't think you're talking to me but to someone else." She said and I nodded.

My chest felt tightened. I was nervous and worried. I didn't know how to tell her. What if she says something I don't expect ? I pushed those thoughts aside and stared into her gorgeous chocolatey eyes. I closed my eyes and she held my hand, rubbing soothing circles which made me feel a little better and a little nervous.

"The day I met you, something knocked on my heart and whispered 'There she is. The one'. But my mind told me not to develop feelings for you and I tried my best to ignore you but I ended up losing. That night, when I crashed over at your place and you calmed me down, I started realising my heart was actually right that day. Since then, I fell in love with you everyday all over again and maybe a little more as the days went by. An aura of happiness was always around you which was contagious to me. Every time I saw you, I smiled and my heart smiled wider. When we hugged, I never wanted to let go of you. Every time I felt your lips on my skin, it felt like electricity surging through my veins. I don't have to tell for you to know that you're the most beautiful girl in this world. You're beautiful inside and out. I know you only for 5 months but it seems like forever." I spoke and gulped down. She rubbed my hand so very softly and I continued.
