another one...

___

I awake but, I don't know who wants to see me, or what needs to be done. Do I deserve a chance? Is it worth going after? Is it going to risk my life? But, my mom wouldn't have came into my dream if it wasn't important. I know it's important, I just don't know what to do.

_

I head to Christina's apartment since she had gotten out of the hospital yesterday and I left her before she had gotten out. Guilt pains me. It's like a stab in the stomach. It hurts.

I knock on the door twice, and Christina says from the distance, "Come in!"

I open the door, and smile at her. "Hey."

She turns her head and see's me then gives me a sympathetic half smile. "Hey. How are you doing?"

I take a deep breath, biting the inside of my cheek, stopping the tears from coming and say, "Fine, I guess."

She nods her head, "I'm sorry. I know you've lost many people Tris but, know I'm always here for you." she stares at me and mumbles, "I'm sorry," again.

I shake my head, and give her a comforting look. "It's okay. You don't need to say so-"

She interrupts me. "Yes I do. I know I haven't exactly been in the same situation as you have but, I've been in a situation similar and I know how you're feeling."

"Thank you." I say, and she just bobs her head. Right after, Uriah walks in the room, and just stares at us, while we stare at him. "Am I ruining a girl moment?" he says.

"No, it's okay." I say. I laugh, and so does Christina.

"So, what's going on here?" he asks.

"Nothing really." I say.

He nods his head then says, "Tris can I talk to you?"

I look to Uriah then to  Christina and my expression tell her, i'll be right back. She sits back down on her bed, while Uriah and I walk out of the room and I close the bedroom door behind us.

I don't know what Uriah is going to tell me but it does make me worry. Why wouldn't he tell me it when Christina was right there? Did somebody else die? I ignore the thought, I don't want to think about death right now. Even though, it's been happening on a daily basis and all I have in my thoughts are death. Will. My mother, my father. It's death that's ruining my life because, it's a non-stop trend. It needs to be stopped. Maybe I can stop it.

"I'm sorry, I just didn't know if I wanted to say this right in front of Christina."

I shake my head, "It's fine," I give him a concerned look , "So, what's the matter?"

"I think someone's trying to contact you. We've received this letter in the pit last night, it was just on the floor." He hands me the piece of paper and on the cover of it is scribbled my name.

Tris

"Do you know who it's from?" I ask.

He shakes his head in disapproval.

"Oh."

"Well, that's all I had to give you." He turns his head, then looks back at me, "I'm going to see Zeke and Shauna. I'll see you later Tris." he waves his hand, and I watch him slowly become smaller, the further he walks away. Then he disappears in the elevator.

I slide down to the wall and crouch my legs up to my chest. I open the note, and it's a whole letter. Words and paragraphs are written down through the whole page, and when I look at the end of the note, a familiar name is written.
