Chapter 28

Rumis POV !!!!!! ( music music, I love that music)

I hugged my knees and rocked back in forth, just how long will Alexis be gone?  She would have killed her kidnappers already, I have that much faith in her. What if they killed her? No, they couldn't have, she's way to strong but, it shouldn't take a month to get away from someone, well at least not for Alexis. I could be wrong though, Camen and Sean said we should go back and get her instead of sitting here. They also wanted us to leave. Then again, what if she is already dead and we go after her, we'd all be dead then.

I will wait for her until she comes back, I'm never going to give up! She has waited for me much longer than a month sometimes, who am I kidding she has only had to wait for me a few days at most because she always comes to save me. I never go and save her because she is the strong one. The strong one does the saving.

"Hey," Sean had come back into the cave and looked down at me, "I admire your friendship with Alex but don't you think that she might never come back?" He asks me, making my insides twist

"Is that all you have to say?" I mumble sadly at what might be the truth

"It's a thought. I just wanted to get that idea into your head so you don't forget." Sean puts his hand on his hip

" I already thought of that once or twice." I say angrily," if you where in my position, wouldn't you want to save your friend."

" I know when to give up and move forward." He sits down right beside me and sighs," you're acting really different since Alex has been gone."

" IM SAD!" I yelled," SHE IS GONE AND WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF I WAS GONE WOULD YOU JUST GIVE UP ON ME-"

Sean cut me off with his hand to my cheek," I wouldn't let you out of my sight."

" I'm not going to give up." I cried and my face was on his shoulders and I know my tears where dropping on his back

"You don't have to make yourself." He rubbed my hair," I will make you."

" What?" I exclaim surprised at his remark

"Let's run off together, I know you want to." Sean explained," Camen would just be a third wheel-"

I push my self off of him appalled that I went to him for help," I can't do such a thing." I whisper getting up.

"I think you can." He says in a snide manner only he could pull off

"Then how about this to get it in your mind, I WON'T leave Alex." I shout at him putting extra emphasis on won't

" I'm doing this so you won't get hurt." Sean was reaching out for my hand, I slapped it away.

I ran out if the cave, I'm supposed to be waiting for Alexis to get back, this was my natural instinct, when I was scared or mad. I will find Alexis on my own, forget about guys, I was happier when just me and Alexis were living in our old cottage and got food from our market. It's not fair any more, haven't we been through enough in our lives? Why wouldn't all the drama stop?!

My tears had became heavier now, but I wasn't getting tired of running, I'm on my own for right now...

" I found you." A voice snag and I was hit with a force bringing me to the ground, I coughed the air was knocked out of me," I can't believe my men had gotten the wrong person."

" Wait what ?" I asked trying to move my arms, he had tighten his grip on me

" How do you get black hair mistaken for white hair." He grinned," you remember me right."

" how could I not." I frowned," you're Edge."

" Right now they are cutting your friends brain open looking for a chip that you have." He laughed," you should feel guilty."

" Alexis is alive." I cried," She is getting her brain cut open."

"Yeah, it should be you though." Edge clicked his tongue," being so selfish and mean, you should be beaten."

" Stop hurting her, if I have what you want just take it and give her back." I say quickly

"Don't worry I'm going take the chip and kill you both." Edge raised up his fist punching me in the face," I'm going to teach you not to be selfish."

I was screaming every time he hit me, once, twice, three times and to the the point where I couldn't even count. I was spitting up blood and edge got off of me and picked me up from the ground with one hand. He was grinning at me and I had my eyes barley open, he was enjoying me suffer.

" Bring it on." The deep voice inside me said," I won't die easily."

" Stupid dumb girl." He threw me at a tree and I fell down and rolled over on my side, my arms where out, I couldn't help it but a small grin went across my face," have you learned your lesson."

I didn't answer

" answer me!" He yelled and ran over to me kicking me in the stomach," Do you actually want to die?!"

" I dddont ccarrre." I mumbled

"Fine then, I will grant you death." Edge stepped on my hand, I heard the bones popping like the rare kettle corn, I screamed

It hurts! It hurts so bad!!

" Get off of her." A voice yelled, it was Sean

"You let them get me." My body gave up and laid on the ground broken

"Hey wake up." Some one growled at me," you're not dead, he is gone we are safe, and I know where Alex might be, but I think she might have escaped though."

" what?" I asked

"Just a thought I wanted you to think about."
