Chapter 23

Rumis POV

I honestly feel awful for Sammie, I don't know why I ratted her out either. It's easy to tell she is working for someone. She was in front of me behind Camen, Alexis was on the end and Sean was in front of the line. It was starting to get darker, only stars and the moon showed us any light. Sammie also looked very tired to, she was starting to slow down and I almost stepped on her heels maybe every other step, which was really starting to get on my nerves.

Why do I always have to feel pity for every one I meet? When they hurt I start getting sad and try to help them. Sammie should be grateful to me, I saved her life. She probably would have been dead by now. Alexis and Camen would have taken her apart and eaten her, making me eat her too, ugh shiver. Well that's probably an exaggeration. Okay, now I am getting tired to, I couldn't help my self from yawning every minute from the exhaustion of walking all day.

I should probably tell them that it's getting late we need to go to sleep. Tonight some one has to stay up to watch Sammie, all because I pity her it doesn't mean that I trust her. What if she was sent to us from the person who wrote the notes? How does she know Alexis's name? I wonder if she knows my name, she probably does. My name gets called a lot from Alexis, this doesn't make any sense to me. All of these things just keep adding up.

" I think we should go to sleep now." I say quietly," I know I'm tired and I know Sammie is tired too."

"Since when do you care how Sammie feels?" Alexis growls under her breath so only I can hear.

" Who is going to stay up?" Sean asks," Cause apparently I can't stay up that long."

" I have no problem doing it. " Camen volunteers which gives me a bad feeling in my stomach," I have every right to kill her if she tries to run away right."

" Yes." Alexis says quickly before I can object

" No." I say back," If she tries to run away, she must have something she is hiding from us."

"If she does and say we kill her, we won't know what she is hiding right." Sean finishes my sentence

" I guess your right." Camen sighs, his shoulders sagging. I guess he was in the mood for some Torturous killing.

Again, it seems like every few seconds I am saving her life. She doesn't even thank me for it. We stop and Sammie looks right at me and smiles weirdly, as if she's suddenly possessed with kindness. I hope that smile is a thank you smile. She has bags under her eyes I assume which are from sleep deprivation like me. Here eyes look different somehow though.

Before, they looked like the eyes of a little child, that was about to cry.Now they look like a serial killer ready for the next victim. Also her body language was different, she was breathing heavily and she slumped her shoulders down. Her legs where bending a little bit, okay now there is actually something wrong with that girl.

" Would it make you feel better if she was tied up?" Sean asked

I want to say yes she was staring at me now but," I think she knows not to run away now." I say quietly

" yea." Sean mumbled

" She is creeping me out." I whispered to my self

" What?" Alexis asked

" Danger." The voice that came out of me growled

" Okay your going to have to stop doing that." Alexis mumbled," your freaking out every one here."

" So your the one." Sammie mumbled

" What!" I exclaimed

" I said I'm just a tired one." Sammie smiled

" Right." I mumbled

I'm really freaked now, nothing to worry Camen has this all in his hands, I hope besides I don't think she would kill me. I mean again I saved her from dying and not being able to sleep good, like she will on the ground, but you get used to it.

" ok so Sammie and Rumi and I will sleep over there," she pointed at a tree," you two can find some where else, but Camen have your guard on Sammie."

" You betcha." Camen winked his eye

Is that what you call flirting

" Oh Rumi one last thing." Sean walked toward me and whispered in my ear," I tell you this again, I love you."

" stop saying weird things." I back up and Sammie and Alexis walked off, I followed them

I could tell my face was bright red.

Is he actually going to say this to me everyday? He better not or I don't know what I'm going to do. Sammie was still smiling creepily, I think I'm going to have night mares, like I haven't had them before. I sat beside Alexis and hugged my knees falling asleep...

" Hey wake up stupid." A voice growled

I flickered my eyes seeing Sammie had my hands bound above me," Just wanted to say thanks before I kill you and your dumb friends."

" what." I gasped

" You better not scream or I will slit your throat easily." She grinned

" Why are you doing this?" I asked

" Why do you think, my other self almost got killed, because of your friends." Sammie glared at me," that's my only true friend I have, and she almost died, though I would die along with her, I'm going to make every one of you pay."

" Sammie, I promise you that-" the knife pressed against my throat

" Don't make anything you can't keep and my name is Scara not Sammie." The way she says her name is like a feline purring. She moved the knife down my neck, it burned badly," it's not enough to kill you, but enough to make you go through pain."

" your probably already used to this, it looks like your scars show you came close to death many times." Scara moved the knife to my cheek," I wonder what your face would look like if it had so many gashes on it."

" please don't " I cried

" Or what, your ghost will come down to haunt me." She giggled

" one." Her knife went down my cheek," two." She cut me again," three."

" Help." I gasped, tears rolling down my eyes

" Ha, I forgot how fun this is." She laughed," your little blonde friend over there is so stupid too, I think I'm just going to end his life in one snap."

" don't." I begged," just kill me."

If Camen died, Alexis would be more depressed if we both died right beside her while she was sleeping.

" Oh but I'm afraid I can't do that though." She move the knife up to my forehead," I need something from you and then I will kill you."

" No." I tried to kick her, but only my screaming helped me, her face frowned at me and then grinned.

" They better not wake up." She said," or-"

" Rumi." Sean and Alexis mumbled, camen was still sleeping

" Dang it!" She roared stabbing me in my arm, she got up, I grabbed my arm in pain rolling over the ground.

" Better watch out." She laughed," I might kill you."

" Your more insane then Alex." Sean yelled

" Rumi!" Alexis exclaimed," I knew we should have killed her!"

That was the last thing I heard before I fell out cold on the ground....
