Chapter 10

TWO WEEKS LATER

My nightmares had been decreasing over the last week or so, I'd been sticking to my routine and it was helping a lot. Dan and Phil had been super busy prepping videos and things as Vidcon was tomorrow, I added a few things to my channel every now and again but wasn't serious about it. I already had a YouTube play button coming for a million subscribers and I'd only posted three videos. It was just because I was Dan and Phil's daughter but I was totally fine with that. When I got in from my run this morning, I walked into the house to find them playing 'The floor is Lava' through the house. There were pillows on the stairs, couch cushions across the landing and from somewhere in the house I heard Phil squeal and a crash of something.
"What the actual..?" I said but I was cut off from the sight of Phil sprawled across the working surface and a chair in the kitchen. Dan was somewhere in the living room.
"Shh, don't judge" He said jumping from the chair onto a pillow and hopping out into the landing. I set my drink down and followed him into the living room where Dan was just executing a perfect rolly polly across the couch.
"Join us!" He puffed.
"Let me get changed" I laughed.

"You touched!!" Dan yelled as Phil fell off his pillow onto the 'lava' below, "that's right, burn! Burn in the flames of hell!"
"And I wondered how you managed to keep you two a secret for years" I laughed, "You're so mean to each other"
"It's friendly banter" Dan said helping Phil up.
"Yeah he loves me really" Phil said looking at the silent Dan, "Say you love me"
"No" Dan said and Phil pushed him into the 'lava'.
"Say you love me or burn!" He yelled.
"Jesus, I love you, sorry" Dan said laughing. I was nearly in tears laughing at them.
"Are you all packed for Vidcon?" Dan asked me.
"Yeah pretty much, just a few more things" I replied, "Kind of stressing out about it though"
"Yeah, it's going to throw you off a bit but don't worry because we'll sort something out for you" Phil said.
"Thanks guys" I said.

"No way, she's disgusting" Phil yelled as the final girls were narrowed down.
"Babe, you think all girls are disgusting" Dan laughed.
"Oh yeah" He snorted and we giggled. We were watching Take Me Out whilst eating pizza.
"What time do we need to leave again?" I asked.
"Uber is coming at 5:30" Dan said, "We fly at 9"
"Okay, I'm gonna go to bed then I think" I said taking the last few plates away.
"Goodnight sweetie" They said and I went off to my room. I could feel the panic start to rise as I realised I'd have to face more nightmares... and on holiday too. I settled into bed and fell asleep to the sounds of Dan and Phil laughing in the lounge.
