Chapter 21

Within the next hour we had been in the rapids, had drinks on one of the swim up bars and now we had gotten three boats and we were holding them all together in a triangle. Dan, Phil and I were in one boat, Hazel, Dodie and Louise in another, Daniel and Jack were in the other. We'd got right to the middle of the pool and we just stayed there and danced in our boats to the music that was echoing through the place.
"We have so long left!!" Hazel yelled.
"Yeah!!" I yelled falling back into the boat.
"Alllriighhhtttt Youtube Creators can I get a hell yeah!" An announcement boomed. There was a cheer from the crowd around us, "Anyone in the main pool hold onto your rafts because here come the waves!"
"Waves?!" Phil exclaimed. I turned around to see huge waves coming towards us. People in the water scrambled to get onto boats and rings so they wouldn't get crushed. They were huge. We were paddling after every waves to push us back towards the centre. Dodie knelt up as a huge wave came and it knocked the boat so she fell backwards into the water making us all laugh. Once the waves ended we decided to try the slides and bouncy castle. The slides had less of a que so we went for the highest one. It was a U shape with two person rafts. They slide you off one side and you went straight down vertically and then back up the other side (Note: If anyone is confused look up Side-winder Blackpool Sandcastle on YouTube, surely there's something). I went on with Dan and Phil went with Louise. We went after Hazel and Jack and it was scary but exhilarating. After that we decided to go on one called The Black Plug. It was a pitch black slide that went really fast and then dropped you into a plug hole and then vertical drop into more pipe.
"Its basically a waterslide of my soul" Dan said making us all laugh. I went on with Phil and we went first. When it dropped us into the plug hole there was lazer lights and smoke machines. We span round and round but as we were directed down the hole in the middle, the raft got caught on one of the small walls that guides the raft down.
"We're stuck!" I yelled.
"Quick, push on the side" Phil said. Dan and Hazel's raft entered the plug hole and we panicked. Dan laughed at us ashe realised what had happened. We managed to get ourselves free as they neared the hole. We shot down the drop and finished the slide. They came shortly behind us.

We waited for the others and then headed towards the bouncy castle. Things had started to die down a bit since people had left. Most had meet ups or panels pretty early in the morning.
"It's a race guys, split into two teams. First one who can jump over the gap, get around the poking wall, through the square and the circle holes in the walls in front of you, up the ladder over the wall and into the big bouncy castle at the end through the holes in the roof" The attendant explained. We split into boys vs girls, it was un even but Dan said he'd go twice. First up was Hazel vs Jack. They set off and made it over the gap in the floor and Hazel fell in at the poking wall where there was various sizes of blocks pocking out of the wall. She climbed back up and they jumped through the holes carved into the walls in front of their tracks. Scrambled up the ladder and we could only see Hazel jump through the hole into the main bouncy castle. We couldn't see Jack, but we heard his high pitched girly scream. We laughed together and continued the race.
