We got a taxi to a hotel closer to home from the airport. I was extremely jet lagged and tired from the journey. Dan and Phil sat in the small office area by the front door and made calls and stuff. I was too tired to listen in. I crept into bed and napped for a while.

I woke up hours later and went to the bathroom. As I opened the door, I saw Dan laid on Phil's chest on the small sofa by the door to the room. They were both snoring lightly, phones in hand. Dan's eyes looked red and puffy but Phil's hand was cupped around the back of his head protectively. They were scared. I was too. What if we had to move out? That was the only home I ever knew. It was safe, warm, cosy and homely. We couldn't leave. I washed my face and brushed my teeth to help make myself feel a bit more refreshed. It was nearing mid afternoon now and the jet lag was killing me. I tried to occupy myself by scrolling through social media, playing phone games, reading, watching YouTube but I was just too stir crazy. About 1pm, they still hadn't woken up. I decided to run out to get us some food. I took my left over spending money from VidCon and wrote a quick note to tell them I'd nipped out. I knew there was a Waitrose around the corner. I'd be back in no time.

It was cold outside as I stepped out of the hotel doors. I turned left and rounded the corner then crossed the street. I headed straight for the lunch deal section once inside Waitrose and bought some sandwitches, crisps, biscuits, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and ice cream. I ran back to the hotel and found them both awake and watching tv.
"Finally" I said shutting the door.
"Hey" Phil said.
"What did you get?" Dan asked. I showed them what I bought and then we sat happily munching.
"Any news?" I asked finally, the apprehension was killing me. I needed to know if we'd be ok.
"They said, we can't go back in for a few months. Even in the downstairs. They need to check they removed all the poisonous gasses and ensure it's safe" Dan explained, he had an unsure look.
"But?" I prompted.
"It's all getting fixed, don't worry. We're not moving anywhere. As soon as its clean we've got people fixing it back up for us. But, we don't know where we can go" Phil said.
"We can stay here" I said. Even I realized how naïve I was being but I just wanted it to be ok somehow.
"We can't afford to stay here for months" Phil said.
"We thought about seeing if you could stay with Hazel and Dodie, seeing as you're quite good friends with them. As are we but three of us in one place is too much. So we're going to ask Zoe and Alfie if they'll lend their spare room" Dan said.
"I suppose" I said.
"But its just for the nights. Everyday we'll pick you up and go somewhere or do something" Phil said.
"Yeah"

Sorry for not posting. Things got busy... real busy. In these next few months until maybe Christmas, updates will be scarce. I have exams and no time to write unfortunately. I'd love to write every single day but I just have no time. Hopefully i'll find the time to post the odd chapter though. Thanks for understanding!!
