Chapter 11

"It's time to get up" Dan said as I felt his warm hand stroking the top of my head.
"Nooo" I moaned and I peeled my eye lids from my eye balls.
"Come on, the Uber will be here in 15 minutes" He said putting some water on my side table and leaving the room so I can get changed. I crawled out of bed and pulled out my last pair of jeans and a white top from my draws and got changed. Everything else was packed. I packed my phone, laptop and chargers into a rucksack and wheeled my suitcase into the hallway where Phil was taking them down. I collapsed into Dan, who was stood with the other bags, and he gave me a hug.
"You can sleep on the plane" He said.
"But I'll have woken up then and I'll be took excited" I moaned, he laughed at me and then i headed downstairs to get into the Uber. I was wearing my big grey granny cardigan and i wrapped it round me as the early morning crisp air attacked me.

We checked in our bags half an hour later and headed to get some breakfast.
"Want your first pancakes of the holiday already?" Dan asked as Phil ordered from Mcdonalds. I ordered a Sausage and egg McMuffin and we sat in the departure lounge watching the planes go past as the sun rose.
"It's going to be so crazy over the next few days" Dan said.
"I know, first one I've been too" I said.
"It is kinda scary but don't panic, we're here and there's people there to keep you safe" Phil said, his mouth full of pancakes.
"Yeah" I replied. We went shopping for a while then queued up at our gate. We were in first class! Nobody had told me that. I was by the window, then Dan was next to me in the next aisle and Phil was in front of my in my aisle. I really woke up when I realised what I'd be spending the next hours in. It was like a convertible house. It was amazing.

Three hours in the air and I was pretty sure I'd eaten my body weight in pringles that came in mini tubs and drank enough coffee for all of us. I watched films and listened to music, I could see the sea beneath us as we approached America and I got really really excited.
"Phil!" Dan hissed behind me.
"What?" I heard the reply.
"Get Sophie" Dan said.
"Yeah?" I asked turning from the window.
"Look who's over there" Dan said pointing to the front of the plane. Hazel, Dodie, Jack and Daniel were all peeping over the tops of the chairs waving at us. I waved back frantically. I checked the sign and took my seatbelt off and went over. I stood with them for a while and chatted about the holiday. We made plans for us all to go to Universal when it was the YouTube night and I couldn't wait.
