Chapter 20

When we got back to the room we changed into our swimwear and put clothes over the top. Dan packed towels in a bag and I stood at the door urging them to hurry up.
"Sweetie, we said meet in half an hour, we've been ten minutes" Phil said.
"I know but I'm too excited!" I said slouching in a chair.
"Come help me edit a Dil video" Dan said pulling out his laptop, I set a timer to go off in 20 minutes time and sat next to Dan. We watched the footage through, the amount of times they said 'edit that part out' was unreal. Swearing, jokes that were too controversial for YouTube and Phil leaving to get a drink or Dan going off to the toilet. There was an hour and a half worth of footage but we cut it down to 40 minutes. 

The timer went off shortly after and we made our way down to meet the others. They were already there when we arrived. We gave our names and got crossed off the list. Dan had an argument with the guy because once again I was left off the list. 
"I'm going to need to see an ID" He said.
"We only have her passport and that's in the room" Dan said.
"Any other proof that she is your child?" He said. Dan's face lit up, he pulled our his phone.
"This?" It was a photo he took on the day we met, he'd posted it to twitter when they announced it, the date was a few years ago.
"Okay that's fine, I'll make sure she gets put on the list" He said.

Once inside it was insane. There were disco lights, a huge inflatable bouncy castle that was on the water. Half the pool was taken up by inflatable hamster balls and the other half was covered with people in inflatable rings and small inflatable paddle boats. There was a pool with slides varying in heights. There were people running about and sat at the Hawaiian themed bar and small chairs and tables. We took off our clothes and into our swimsuits and put them into the lockers.
"Where first?" Dan asked.
"This way!" Hazel said grabbing mine and Dodie's hand and speed walking in a direction. There were fake plants and trees surrounding small pools and there was a bridge running over the rapids.
"Sophie!" Someone yelled from beneath me. I looked over the railing and Zoe and Alfie and Tanya and Jim were all floating under the bridge in rings.
"Hi!" I yelled and we all ran towards the pools. This was going to be amazing.
