We stayed in the hotel for a few more days until Dodie and Hazel came back from America. Once they got home we took a taxi to their apartment with all of my stuff. I was still living out of my suitcase packed for sun and heat. Not London.
"When will we be allowed home?" I asked pulling the sleeves of my thin knitted cardigan over my hands.
"Whenever they clear us" Dan replied, his hair was messy and his face was dull. He was usually so full of life. Clearly he missed home. We were all feeling a little homesick now.

"Helloooo" Hazel said opening the door and giving us all a hug. We sat on the couch for a while and talked. We told them about the extent of the fire and the problems and everything.
"I feel so bad dumping myself on you for so long" I said.
"Don't feel bad, its exciting. I'm excited! Think of everything we can do! It'll be like having a little sister" Hazel said.
"But you have things to do" I replied.
"Honey, I'm a YouTuber" She said raising an eyebrow, "Its not like I have a full time office job"
"True" I said laughing.

Dan and Phil left a few hours later. Daniel had made pasta for tea and then they headed off to Zoe's.
"Shall we wash your clothes?" Hazel asked, "you can't have much left to get wear out of"
"Yeah please" I said.
"We could go shopping tomorrow and buy you some jumpers and jeans or some warmer stuff until you can go get your stuff" Dodie shouted from the couch.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yeah of course" Hazel replied.
"Thank you" I said.
"Now come on, lets set up your bed" Dodie said.
"We thought we'd let you decided where you wanted to sleep. We have a blow up bed to go in either mine or Dodie's room if you need to be with someone or theres the spare room" Hazel said leading us into the hallway.
"I'll be fine in the spare room, I don't want to get in your way" I said.

I was not fine. It was 3:46am and I had not slept a wink. I was tired enough from the jet lag plus having to battle a whole day of mixed emotions. I was exhausted. Everytime I closed my eyes I saw the burning. What would have happened if we were in the house? What if we were sleeping? I couldn't get the images of us all being trapped in a burning room as the walls and ceiling came down around us. The ball of anxiety rose in my throat and I'd be wide awake... again.

sorry this chapter's pretty bad. Just needed a few fillers to get things going again.
