Austin Mahone - Say You're Just A Friend

Mark's POV
No, Mark. No.

You just met this girl in less then a week and now you said you loved her? You must be kidding.

"Mark? Markus?" She shaked her hand in front of my face and I was a bit shocked.

"Aah, yeah?" I smiled to her.

"What are you thinking? You seem really serious thinking about it. You can tell me if you don't mind." She replied with a smile.

Seeing her smile just made me smiling even more inside. "Nothing, just some boring band stuffs." I lied.

"Ah I see."

"By the way, are you hungry?" I asked.

"A bit."

"Alright then. Let's go." I said, waiting for her to take my awaiting hand.

"Where?"

"You'll see. Come on." I smiled.

She just nodded and put her hand on mine. Her grip felt different somehow. I just felt warmer, safer, and.... I didn't know. It just felt right.

I took her to a restaurant where the lads, the wives, the kids and I often had lunch or dinner here.

Jess' POV

He took me to one of the fanciest restaurant in this city.

"Why are you taking me here?" I asked. "Just asking."

"Because you are hungry and so am I. I am sooooo hungryyyyy." He cheered like a 5 years old kid. He looked cute when he smiled and cheered.

"Right, I get it."

"Wait here." He said before he got out. Eumm, I was a little bit confused.

Then I saw him walking to the other side of his car to open the door beside me. He opened it, "come on, princess." He smiled. I could say he really meant it.

"Awww, Mark. That's so cute and sweet but you don't have to do that. I can open it myself. But, thank you." I smile widely as I realized I was blushing.

"My pleasure. And by the way, you look very cute when you are blushing."

"Thanks again. And one more thing, I am Jess, not princess." I cheered.

"Alright, prin.... I mean, Jess. Let's go. I'm so hungry here." He cheered and I just laughed.

We entered the restaurant and we were greeted by a waiter that seemed really knew Mark.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Feehily." He said.

"Afternoon, Ryan." He replied with a smile. He was a very nice person. He smiled to everyone and I liked that.

"Let's go upstairs." He said to me.

I just nodded. After we managed to get there, we ordered the food. Because I had never been here, I just ordered the same with him.

"Eumm, Mark, why are we the only people who are here? Why don't we eat downstairs?" I asked.

"Ah it's because this is the private place for Westlife and families. Because sometimes the fans notice us and ask for.... Yeah you know that, fan stuffs." He explained. "And I really love eating here because I can look outside and downstairs easily. I know that's weirdd." He chuckled.

"But, I'm not even your family."

"You're my special friend, Jess." He smiled widely.

You're my special friend, Jess.

That sentence just made me blushing, again. Ugh, why did I get blushed so easily? I thought that I just embrassed myself.

He just met me less than a week but he had said I was a special friend of him. Katy would get mad at me if she knew this, haha.

"Aww, thanks for saying I'm your special friend. Thank you." I said.

"You don't have to thank me, Jess. That should be me who thank you for coming to my life. It means a lot for me. THANK you." He emphasized the 'thank' word.

What?

He thanked me for coming to his life?! Mark Feehily thanked me for coming to his life?!

WAS I DREAMING?! WAS THIS REALLY HAPPENING?!

"W...why do you thank me that? I don't deserve that."

"Oh you do, Jess. You've changed my life, even less than a week." He smiled.

Before I could say anything more, the waitress come with the food. So yeah, I couldn't ask him more.

But if you wanted to know, exactly I felt so happy deep inside when he said that. Because I got a feeling that said I would mean a lot for him.

"Sssh, who are you, Jess? You are just a friend. Nothing more." My head said. Right. Just a friend, special friend like he said.
