Chapter 12 - Kevin is back

Mark's POV

HOLY SHIT.

HE COULDN'T BE.

"Wh...what are you doing here?" I finally spoke.

"Haha," he mocked me, I knew it. "Nervous to meet me again?"

What the hell, no, you moron.

"What?! No, of course. Just-"

"Whatever you say, Feehily. I know you are." He chuckled. Fuck no, McDaid.

"Kev-" I heard Nicky's voice.

I turned around and saw him just entering the room. I gave him 'What the fuck!?' look and he automatically gave me 'I'm sorry' look.

"Nick, we have to talk right now." I said. "Just Nicky and I." I said, turning my face to the McDaid.

"Alright, boys, I'll get out." He smirked, getting up then leaving. "Don't miss me, yeah Feehily?" He chuckled before closing the door.

What the fuck. Hell no, McDaid.

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes.

"I thought Shane has called you earlier and told the news." Nicky said after we were alone.

"Told me what news?"

"He is the photographer for our next album photoshoot."

FUCK.

HELL NO.

My eyes went wide. "WHAT THE FUCK!?" I almost shouted. "He didn't call me, didn't even fucking text me."

"Ssshh, do not shout. He'll hear it." He shushed.

"I don't give a fuck about it." I groaned.

"Are you really sure he didn't ring or text you? Check your phone."

"No, he didn't."

He sighed. "Check it, Mark."

I shrugged then pulled it out from my pocket.

Fool you, Feehily.

"Damn it. I put it on silent mode."

He sighed again. "See."

"I'm sorry. You know I don't like it when someone disturbs my time with Jess."

"Oh shit." He mumbled.

"What?"

"Jess, Mark. She's gonna be in trouble if Kevin knows."

No fucking way.

"Holy shit. Damn."

"You'll protect her, won't you?"

"Always, of course." I said. "I won't ever let anyone or anything come between us."

"Good."

Minutes later, Shane and Kian came and greeted me with 'Why are you here?' look. I just shrugged and sighed.

Kevin entered the room. Ugh I hated this very much. Deep inside, I got a little bit afraid he would do something to separate us. I just didn't wanna lose her. No. She was my everything.

"Hi again, Mark."

I just replied nothing.

My phone buzzed. I took out and opened it after sat down at the couch. It was a text from Jess.

From: Jess

Hey what are you doing? Sorry if I disturb you but, just wanna say my second class is cancelled so I'm gonna finish at around 11.

She is my saviour, really.

To: Jess

Omg thank tou Jess, you just saved me. I pick you up right now, kay? Wait there:) Mx

From: Jess

It's still a half and an hour later, Mark.

To: Jess

Really, Jess, it's okay. I even need to get outta here just now, like fucking right now. Mx

From: Jess

Uh huh, my boy doesn't swear in text message. But, what happened?

To: Jess

Tell you later. See ya, Jessie<3 Mx

From: Jess

See ya, Marky<3

"I need to go." I said.

"What?" Kevin asked but I ignored it, of course.

"Go then. It's okay." Shane said, understanding me.

"Thanks, owe you one, Shay. Tell Louis I need to go for URGENT business." I said, emphasizing the 'urgent' word.

He just nodded and I went out, leaving Kevin speechless. Eat that, McDaid.

Jess' POV

"Hi." I greeted him as I entered his Rover.

"Hi." He smiled.

"Sorry for waiting."

"Nah, told ya it's okay." He sighed. I could conclude he was really under pressure.

"Hey, what happened?"

He took a long sigh. "Do you want some ice cream?"

I smiled. "Don't I always?" I chuckled.

He smiled then drove to our favourite ice cream shop.

I ordered the cookies&cream flavour and he ordered the mint one. We sat at the corner.

"So, wanna tell me now what happened?"

He nodded. "Promise me you won't leave me?"

"Oh come on, Mark, don't be silly. Just spit it out." His reply made me confused.

"Promise me?" His eyes were pleading.

"I promise. Beside that, I won't ever wanna leave too. You know that, we both do."

"Kevin is back."
