Chapter 5

Sundance's POV

I quickly jumped into Lin's car and started crying. Lin kept asking me if I was okay and I just kept crying. We finally arrived at his apartment and he unlocked the door and I just walked to my room.

Lin came into my room and said, "Anthony is here and I need to know what happened before I make Anthony come in here and make it come out of you."

"It's nothing I just saw someone." I told him still shaking. I then heard my phone ring so I went to get it. I walked out and Anthony was sitting in the living room. I gave him a small smile and realized how cute he was. (Sorry. I totally ship Janthony but I have something special planned for this story.)

I walked over to my backpack and got my phone out and it was a text from Hope.

Hope - Hey. What are you doing? Do you want to hang out?

Me - Sure. Let me ask Lin.

"Hey Lin." I yelled and he came running out.

"What. Is everything okay?" He asked concerned.

"Um... Can my friend Hope come over?" I asked him and he nodded his head and sat with Anthony on the couch. I texted Hope and she said she would be over in five minutes.

I sat on the couch with Lin and Anthony until I heard the doorbell. I went and opened the door and Hope entered.

"Hope. That is Lin and the other one is Anthony." I told her as she smiled and gave a small wave.

"Wow. Thanks so much. You love me so much that you can just call me the other one." Anthony told me very sarcastically.

"Yep. Me and Hope are going to my room." I told them as we walked to my room.

Hope's POV

I was walking to Sundance's house when I passed the Richard Rogers. I saw her old foster dad Colin standing by there. I hurriedly ran to her house to tell her.

I rang the doorbell and she opened the door. As soon as I walked in I saw a very cute boy sitting on the couch. She introduce me to him and his name is Anthony.

We went to her room and I started talking to her about her old foster dad.

Anthony's POV

As soon as Sundance opened the door for her friend I noticed how pretty she was. I just acted stupid like always. I am such an idiot.

She was so pretty I didn't know what else to say. As Sundance and her friend walked to her room I couldn't keep me eyes off of here. She was so pretty.

Sundance's POV

We walked into my room and sat down on my bed. As soon as we sat down Hope said she had something really important to tell me.

"I saw Colin standing outside of the Richard Rogers." She told me nervously.

"I know. I saw him earlier." I said back really anxious and nervously.

"Why? Why was he there? Is he going to hurt you? I swear if he hurts you I am going to kill him." She responded angrily.

"No...No...No." I said trying to catch my breath. I was having trouble breathing.

"Breathe. Breathe. Try to calm down. You can get throw this." She kept telling me as I was trying to breathe.

"Please...go...get...Lin." I told her. She ran off and I kept on trying to breathe.

Lin's POV

Me and Anthony were taking about the show when Hope can running in.

"Sundance needs help. She is having trouble breathing." She told us.

Me and Anthony started running to her room with Hope close behind. I walked in and she was on her bed trying to catch her breathe but couldn't.

"Sundance. What's wrong." I asked her. "Anthony go get her water." Anthony went and got her water and gave it to her when he got back.

After she drank the water she was able to calm down and talk.

"Sweetheart. What happened?" I asked her.

"I have never told anyone besides Hope this. I have really bad anxiety and I hyperventilate a lot when I get nervous. Well I actually told the first family I was with but after that nobody as cared enough to listen to me tell them and so I have been fighting this on my own. So 3 years ago I decided I was never going to tell anyone and I guess I just told you so that is done and I am ranting aren't I." She said really fast.

"Wait so you have anxiety and hyperventilate a lot?" I asked her to confirm it.

"Yes." She replied simply.

"Okay. Let's take you to a doctor and see if there is anything we can do for it. And what were you even nervous about?" I asked her.

"You know earlier when I jumped in the car and started crying?" She asked me and I nodded my head. "Well I saw my old foster dad by the theater and got scared. So when Hope got here she told me she saw him outside of the theater to."

"Okay well let's go get in the car." I told her and started to walk out to get my shoes.

"No. No. I don't need to go. I am completely fine. Honestly I have been dealing with this for years so I am fine." She said really fast and nervous.

I decided to just pick her up and take her to the car. Anthony helped me and we drove to the doctors. We arrived and I had to fill out lots of paper work. She finally got called back and we waited for her.

The doctor came back out and asked for me. I walked in and sat down.

"Okay. So your daughter has severe anxiety so she is going to have to go to therapy twice awake. She also hyperventilates a lot so I am going to give her medicine for it. If you have any questions let me know." She told me. I shook my head no and took Sundance's hand and walked her out. I knew she would be nervous. We walked back to the car and went back to the apartment.
