Chapter 18

Lin's POV (I'm trying something new. It is going to be bad)

I was so excited when Sundance came in and told me she got a good part. We went into the living room and I turned on Phantom.

She looked really exhausted and she looked like she was eating. She was looking at her phone and then turned it off and looked up.

We got half way through the movie and she was asleep. There was a knock on the door and I went to get it. It was Renee, Anthony, Jon, Daveed, and Pippa.

"Hey." Jon said walking in.

"Shut up. She is sleeping on the couch as I don't want her to wake up. She came home and look really exhausted and didn't look to good. Someone has to watch her when we eat to make sure she is eating." I told them.

We walked into the kitchen and V was making dinner. She was making spaghetti, garlic bread, and salad. We set the table and Jon went to wake up Sundance. I heard her scream, then I heard laughing, and then I heard Jon yell ouch.

Sundance came in rubbing her eyes and sat down. She sat in between Anthony and Renee. We decided that Pippa would watch her eat.

I sat next to Seb and V. We all passed around the food and got our plates.

Sundance's POV

Jon woke me up by jumping on me and he landed on my ankle so I screamed. He started laughing so I slapped him. He yelled ouch and I got up.

I walked into the dining room and saw everyone and smiled. I sat in between Anthony and Renee. Lin started to pass the food and I had to take food so they didn't know I wasn't eating.

I took one piece of garlic bread and salad. I didn't want any spaghetti. I sat there slowly eating my salad not wanting to draw attention to myself.

"So. Sundance has some good news." Lin said.

"Oh yeah." I said. "I got the part of Angelica for the school musical." I told everyone.

"Oh my god. I'm so happy for you. I will totally be working with you." Renee told me.

I smiled at them and continued eating. I didn't want to talk to anyone because I was so tired. After dinner they all left and I went up to my room.

My ankle was now really purple and black. It was all swollen and I got some ice. I was putting the ice on when Lin walked in. I quickly put the blanket over my legs and got my phone.

"Hey. Are you okay?" He asked me with concern.

"Yeah. I'm just a little tired." I responded.

"Okay. Well good night." He said and gave me a hug.

I read on my phone then fell asleep. I woke up the next morning ready for dance practice.
