Chapter 14

Sundance's POV

After I finished my nap and I went upstairs. When I got to the bottom of the steps I saw the entire cast in the living room, dining room, and kitchen. When they saw me they all started clapping and I got really confused.

"Why are you guys all clapping?" I asked them.

"Because your dance was amazing!" Anthony said coming up to me.

"I don't really think so and it was yesterday, so isn't this a little late?" I asked. 

"No, we wanted to celebrate with you last night, but we realized you had school in the morning and we didn't want to keep you out late." Anthony told me.

"Oh okay. Thanks." I walked away from them and into the kitchen. I got a glass out of the cabinet and got some water. I heard my phone buzz so I went to get it out of my backpack.

"Who is Dean?" Daveed asked me.

"Why do you have my phone and why are snooping in my personal business?" I asked why taking my phone.

"Just tell us who Dean is and we will stop bothering you." He told me.

"Fine. Dean is a guy who I went on a date with and who I sit next to in history." I told everyone.

"Oh my gosh. Tell me everything." Pippa said.

"OH MY GOD. YOU WENT ON A DATE." Chris, Daveed, Anthony, Groff, Oak, and Leslie yelled.

I ignored them all and checked my phone.

Dean - Hey. I just wanted to make sure you were okay. And to tell you about the history project. We are partners.

I saw that everyone was waiting for me to answer so I just went up to my room to have some privacy.

Sundance - I'm fine. I just needed the day off. What is the project?

Dean - Oh we have to sing a song from Hamilton in front of the class. No biggie. 😀

Sundance - LOL. I have to go. All of my dad's friends are here so I'm going to go tell them! See you soon.

Dean - Okay. Goodbye.

"Lin! Lin!" I yelled as I ran down the steps.

"What? Are you okay? Why are you screaming?" He asked looking very concerned.

"I'm fine. But I was texting Dean and he was telling me about our project in history. Our project is that we have to sing a song from Hamilton and me and Dean are partners." I told him with a huge smile on my face.

"That's amazing. You will have so much fun with that project because you have us." He told me giving me a hug. 

The party went on for another 2 hours and we ate lots of food and watched Rent. I had so much fun and couldn't believe that I finally had so many people who actually care about me. When the party was over everyone left except Anthony because he passed out on the couch

When I woke up in the morning Anthony was in the kitchen helping Vanessa with breakfast. I got ready for school and went back downstairs to grab my breakfast and go to school. 

"Do you want any pancakes?" Anthony asked me.

"Nope. I'm just going to have an apple. I'm leaving for school V." I replied.

"I will drive you to school.' Anthony told me.

"It's okay. i would rather walk. Bye." I left and walked to school.

When I got to school I went straight to the history teacher to ask about the project. He told me everything I needed to know and told me that I was all set. Me and Dean started to look through the songs but we couldn't agree on one before the bell rang.
