Chapter 28

Sundance's POV

I can't believe who I was seeing. It was the same girl that my uncle always brought with him and after awhile she disappeared and I never figured out why. I noticed she was alone and when I turned I noticed a man sitting next to her.

Lin and the rest of the cast came running out and they all surrounded me. After about 10 minutes they stood up and started walking towards us.

"Don't come closer." Lin yelled at him.

"Oh. You have no idea who you are talking to. I'm Carter. The man who hired Sundance's uncle and the same man who had her parent killed. I will kill you in an instant." He said to him.

"Who are you?" I said, looking at the woman.

"I'm Lydia. You don't remember me? I'm your aunt." She told me.

I was really confused and didn't know what she was talking about. I remember seeing her at my house all the time but I don't remember he being my aunt.

"That means you have to come with me because I am your only relative." She told me as she grabbed my hand and started pulling me away from the cast.

I mouthed to Lin to call Hope because she knew how to find me no matter what, but before they were able to get out of the building the cops showed up. The woman put me down and I felt something cold up against my neck. I heard a lot of shouting and then a loud bang and there was suddenly severe pain in my hip.

I screamed and then fell to the floor and started to cry. I heard more shouting and I started to black out. Before I could figure out where I was I passed out.

Lin's POV

We were all hanging out in the dressing rooms when we heard Sundance scream. We all ran out to the stage and we saw 2 people sitting in the office. We tried to calm her down, but she was freaking out. Anthony snuck out and called 911. After about 10 minutes they got up and started to walk towards us.

"Don't come closer." I yelled at him.

"Oh. You have no idea who you are talking to. I'm Carter. The man who hired Sundance's uncle and the same man who had her parent killed. I will kill you in an instant." He said to me.

"Who are you?" Sundance said, looking at the woman.

"I'm Lydia. You don't remember me? I'm your aunt." She told her.

She looked really confused and we just kept looking back and forth between each other. Anthony came back in and whispered that the cops would be here soon.

"That means you have to come with me because I am your only relative." She told her as she grabbed her hand and started pulling her away from us.

They got to the back doors and then the cops came running in. The man pulled a gun out and put it up against Sundance's neck. I wanted to run after them but I knew it would make things worse. They told us all to lay down so we all got down.

We heard a bunch of screaming and then a really loud bang and we heard a scream. I looked up and Sundance's was falling to the floor. There was a lot more screaming and the cops eventually got the 2 people.

I ran up to Sundance and a paramedic ran up. They took her and we all headed to the hospital.
